Rumble, The King of Top Lane (Rumble Top S6 In-Depth Guide)
Rumble, The King of Top Lane (Rumble Top S6 In-Depth Guide)
Rumble is one of the most underestimated early game strong champion. Even if Mundo is a permaban nowadays, Rumble can easy outtrade him. Remember to stay in dangerzone at lvl.1 abusing Q before minion's spawn. When u got lvl 2, harass him with heated E (x2), Q, and overheated AAs. Dodge his cleaver and you should have no problem in lane. Try to get first blood. Remember to ward in the first 5 minutes.
Riven
Riven can be tricky if she's good to dodge your E. You will be able to bully lane because even if she come all-in, you will have your Q on, dealing massive damage even when you are stunned. Poke lane and you should get first blood. Remember to ward in the first 5 minutes.
Shen
He's annoying to lane against because of his shield, but you can easy bully him with the same technics of Riven and Mundo. Try to get first blood and take care of ganks because of his taunt.
Akali
Few people plays her in top these days. Too squishy and her damage output is not as yours in early game. Play aggressive and care for slow in the circle.
Nasus
In early game he's a little dog, and you are a beast. Play aggressive as hell, and don't let him farm. Care of ganks and for his slow when you got no wards.
Jax
One of the most used champ in Top and Jungle these days. Until he gets lvl 6 and Guinsoo, you will be able to outtrade him. Just care of his stun and don't try to have long trades with him.
Pantheon
Absorb his Spear with your Scrap Shield and everything will be ok. He should start with Corrupting Pots and then run some MR. If he jumps on you be ready to use your Q, so you will still dealing damage. Bully lane.
Aatrox
This guy can be annoying to play against due to his passive and his sustain. Try to harass him when he last hits. Care when he come all in, maybe a gank is coming.
Hecarim
He got no range, no tankiness and very few sustain in early game. Poke him as hell and you should get first blood.
Tryndamere
Basically luck will do the job due to his passive. Try to don't get slow'd by his W or he can hit you 2-3 times, and surely one of that will be a crit. Try to be a bit bully until lvl 6, then just play passive because he will be almost unkillable. Care if he got ignite.
Yasuo
His passive shield is easy to cancel with your Q, his windwall doesn't block your Q, but care for his mobility because he can easy dodge your E and come all in. Try to dodge his Tornado and don't let him hit you. Care if he got ignite.
Teemo
His blind will make you miss a lot of CS, but he's so squishy. Absorb his Q with your Scrap Shield and try to reply with some E's and you should win the lane. Don't step in shrooms.
Gnar
You can only trade if he didn't unlock his W first. He can kite you as hell and he can become faster and faster. It can sounds a bit "wrong", but actually you can win the trade when he's Mega. Just harass him with E when he's little.
Darius
He lacks of range, but he's still Darius. Don't get grabbed or you are 50% dead. Crazy sustain and crazy passive. Play safe. If he rush Visage first, just farm and wait for ganks.
Ekko
Not a lot of people using him Top, but I find him a bit hard to lane against. With Thunderlord Mastery he can be tricky. Don't get hit by his Q and care when he cast his stun. Harass him and try to don't trade too much.
Maokai
Basically a very easy lane, if she come close to you, just burst the hell out of him. Abuse heat sometimes. Play aggressive.
Volibear
His passive can be so annoying. Don't go for sustained fights. Just quick trade and then back. If he rush early Visage/Banshee, just wait for ganks.
Vladimir
He's so weak in early game but he got crazy sustain, so you got 2 chance: 1) try to kill him in early game, 2) just play passive and farm after he rush his first item.
Jayce
Just dodge his Shock Blast and you should be able to play aggressive.
Urgot
Like Jayce, dodge his Acid Hunter and you should be able to play aggressive. Care for his ult if you dive him.
Fiora
Fiora got a strong early game too, but she's more squishy. Try to hit her with heated E's and just Q and AA if she come to you. Her W is basically useless against you.
Cho'Gath
Dodge his Rupture and you should be able to bully lane. If he rush MR, just harass him. He will get nearly unkillable after lvl 6-7.
Wukong
Wukong can be tricky if the player is good. Don't waste your skills on his clone or he will instantly come all in. Try to harass, and play normal.
Poppy
New Poppy is good but she has no damage to trade with you. Just dodge the second shot of her Q and don't let her take the shield from his passive.
Illaoi
Play safe. Don't get grabbed by her, don't try to fight, don't try to trade. Kill more tentacles you can and try to dodge all of her skills and wait for ganks.
Irelia
If you want to get first blood against her, do it until level 6. Then, play passive as hell. Her gap closer means a lot to you and you can just flash to dodge her ultimate. Wait for ganks.
Kayle
Same as Irelia. Try to get first blood until lvl 6, then play passive as hell. She can out trade you so easy, so take care.
Malphite
Your Q counters his passive. Rush Liandry first and you should have no problem with him. Absorb his Q with your Scrap Shield.
Renekton
Care of his gap closer and stun. He's similar to Riven, but he's hell of tankiness. Just try to harass him with E, then play safe and farm. Wait for ganks.
Olaf
Well. Just play safe. Trust me.
Garen
You can harass him as hell, because he has no range to trade with you. But his passive is so annoying. If he rush Visage first, just farm and wait for ganks.
Gangplank
Just dodge his barrels and you should be ok, take care when he got lvl 6, his ult is a good engage for an incoming gank.
Kennen
He's squishy and not that good in early game, just try to don't get stunned. Don't trade when he comes all in with his ult.
Singed
He has no tankiness and no damage to deal with you in early game. Try to get first blood and care for his knockback. Absorb poison with your Scrap Shield.
Nautilus
Just try to don't get grabbed by him, then you should be ok. Harass him with heated rockets, even if he should get no damage from them. Too tanky.
Rengar
Just take care of his passive. When he got full 5/5 stacks, he could be ready to snare you and kill you with the jungler maybe. Also try to don't stay near bushes and you should win lane against him.
Sion
Just dodge his stun. He has no mobility and no range. You can easily out trade him.
Hey there! Rumble main here. I decided to open this guide for everyone who wants to start to play Rumble. I'm not the best Rumble player in the world, that's obvious, but I think i have the right knowledge for giving advice about him.
Remember you have one of the most powerful early game in the whole League of Legends!
Unlock your Q first, and start to spam him from 00.30 seconds. If you are doing it right, at 1.40 when you should be able to farm in lane, you should have your heated Q and dealing double damage. When you got lvl 2 you should be able to kill someone.
Remember also to land a good Equalizer. A good Equalizer is when you leave no escape to enemies. More they stay in there, more they get damaged. Always try to get diagonal Equalizers, never horizontal or vertical because it would mean for them to stay on it just 1 second.
I always start with boots and then 4 pots, because I want to be bully and I need to be faster and maybe being aggressive could make me hit by 2 tower shots at lvl 2. That means going B, if I don't rush 4 pots.
Rush Haunting Guise as first item. ALWAYS. Then, I often go Rylai and then Zhonya and Rabadon. When I got my Rabadon, I can buy Liandry. But just play your game. If you want to rush Liandry first, just do it.
Thanks for reading my guide. I hope it can be helpful for many of you. See you in game!
