Hi my name is Stratos (summoner name Stratogos)and this is my guide on Fiddlesticks.I currently have close to 400k on Fiddlesticks and over 350 games on the rework Fiddlesticks.Many think that Fiddlesticks is a weak and useless champion.However fiddlesticks is a champion with a lot of advantages in every stage of the game.He is very fun to play with and can help the team in many situations(especially in teamfights).LOL is game after all, you need to have fun when playing and i have found this fun when playing fiddle.I don't care about ranks as i only stand at Gold 4 and i stopped playing ranks.
Every champion has his advantages but also has some disadvantages.Lets look at some pros and cons for fiddlesticks

+ Easy to learn
+ Can solo objectives
+ Very good Ult
+ Lots of Gloval DMG
+ Jungle sustain and clear
+ Has CC
+ Low ban rate
+ Can give heart attacks
Cons
- He is squishy
- Cannot do much DMG without R
- Cannot take objectives quick
- Has no escape if caught
- Big CD on Ult
- Needs lots of vision


All in all Fiddle has as many advantages and disadvantages as any other champ picking him or not depends on your play style and your team

These are the core items for Fiddlesticks!You will find these items in most if not all Jungle guides about him.However you must there some things you should know to make your gameplay better with Fiddlesticks.Lets start with Liandry's Torment.This item is great for fiddlesticks, CDR , DMG , Mana and extra DMG which is everything that Fiddlesticks needs in order to gank a lane or go in on a teamfight and help him win,it is just a great item for him.Secondly we have the main core item Zhonya's Hourglass.This item is SO GOOD for Fiddlesticks.You get CDR and DMG plus an active that can save you,help you dive,help you start a teamfight easily.Every Fiddlesticks build should have this item as its core.Last but not least we have Morellonomicon.This item is the key to help you win teamfights for your team as it reduces the enemies team healing plus you get some much needed armor penetration for the enemy tanks.All in all after many tests with other items,i can surely tell you that these are the best items for fiddlesticks in any situation
Fiddlesticks can have different jungle paths depending on your abilities to use them or what you want to do early game.Here i will tell my jungle path for fiddlesticks and i will also tell what to look for to help your other lanes

First thing to do when spawning is to buy your items.If your buy includes a control ward place it in the bush near river at your blue side(as shown in the map image) so you know you wont get invaded.If the enemy team has a gank potential place the ward in the lane where they have the more danger of getting ganked.

As for the jungle path there 2 options with the first one #1 focusing on farm till lvl 3-4 and the other which #2 leans in early ganks for your team if you find a lvl 2 gank.

For both paths we will be using an map image inorder to make the paths easier to understand.Both paths work at both sides(obvious but we need to mention for new players).The first path which is the main path will use the red markers and the other side will use the blue markers

OPTION #1

As for the first jungle path you should raptors #1 and then go to take your Red #2 using your Q once and then only use W.Now power farm ultil lvl 3-4 at least.You should head to your Wolves #3 and after that you need to go to Blue #4 and then Gromp #4 even tho i recommend to farm them together (using W).If everything was farmed in time Scuttle Grab should be spawning any second so you should get it.After that its time to see any gank opportunity if all lanes are pushed and you cannot get a gank you should do your First Back.If you have a gank opportunity choose the lane who can get ahead if they win their lane early(and then back).After first back you should head for Krugs and then head to raptors again as they should have respawned by now.

OPTION #2

The second option doesn't have any differences from the first one at the start.Same as before you start from raptors #1 and the head to your Red #2 .This path is useful if there is a gank opportunity at lvl 2,if there is no gank opportunity use option #1.Lets say there is a gank opportunity tho, you should go gank the lane(make sure you have Q on it will help secure the gank kill.After tha gank there are 2 options reset or go farm krags #3 and the reset.Next you should go for you Blue #4 .Then just farm the rest of your botside with wolves #5 first and Gromp #6 second.Last but not least if scattle crab #7 is still up farm it and look for the next lane to gank.

After your first back and jungle clear you should be lvl 5 which means you can solo drake.Be aware tho, even tho Fiddle can solo drake he will do it slowly so starting it and then leaving will make you lose early game.In order to prevent that you should have vision to the objectives when possible and be aware of the map.For example if you are top side and you see enemy jg trying to gank top or mid try to counter gank/color].On the other hand if you are bot enemy jg trying to gank top, you should head to drake.

As for your ganks try to use your ult only when you know you can get a kill out of the gank or else it will not be worth it.Remember that enemy jungle could also counter gank any moment so have vision at lane entrances and objectives so your team can rotate to a drake if needed

Furthermore if there no available objectives at the time or you cannot take an objective(low health exp.),if the enemy ganks a lane you can invade his jungle for free cs.

In general dont overstay at your jungle.You may have sustain but an item more could make the difference in a gank or drake retake

Last but not least Vision.Vision is very important with Fiddlesticks.You just need it!!!Especially pre lvl 11 where your ultimate has a massive CDR and you don't have items yet,you need vision so you use his R correctly..One ward at drake could be the difference it order to R at the right moment on the right enemies and win a teamfight and maybe even the game.An image with the potitions i find the most helpful for both you and your team for wards can be seen below.Control Wards are shown with orange and your passive wards with red.

Fiddlesticks has one of the most intersting abilities in the game which make him a very unique and scary champion to play against

Lets start:

As mentioned aboved the u should lvl up the abilities this way :

- A Harmless Scarecrow:Fiddles passive is unique and many say it is a bad passive but if used right it can be very helpful. It is basically a ward with his form that provides lens vision for some sec and then acts as a ward until an enemy gets close enough.If the enemy sees the ward there is either a flash or a fear animation which, however consumes the ward.This is very usefull if used in common enemy positions in the jungle which can confuse an enemy sometimes into using an important abilitie.

- Terrify:This is Fiddles Q which works the same as it used to be. It is a point and click fear which also deals more DMG the higher the enemy health is.This is the first abilitie you should on an enemy after you use your ult

- Bountiful Harvest:This is Fiddlesticks W.It is global move in which fiddle drains health from everything that is in range.This ability works the opposite way his Q does which means that the lower an enemy is the more DMG his W will do.It also does spike DMG at the end which gives fiddle more health as well.This is very good in teamfights because fiddle gets a lot of health and deals a lot of DMG to all the enemies especially to those who are low.Lastly if the ability is used without any interuption its CD reduces

- Reap:This is Fiddles E.Many say it is an downgrade from the previous fiddle but here is where dark harvest comes to place.This ability has pretty big range and can silence people doing DMG.The DMG doen't depend on enemy's health like the other abilities(Q,E).This ability can do lots of DMG if you have a max Dark Harvest and can literaly delete an squishy enemy in late game.

- Crowstorm:This is the reason Fiddle is one of the best teamfight champions in the game.This is Fiddles R.Its a circle which deals global DMG to every enemy in it.However it requires a 1.5s channel in which if you get cced you lose your ult and have to wait for CD again.One more thing is that if use the ult to an enemy/enemies that don't see you, then you fear them for some seconds
There are no much to tell here. If you know how the abilities work you should know how to use them in every situation.However there are some tricks to be said:

If you gank a lane without R you should start by using Q on the enemy laner to fear him.Then use E after fear ends to silence the enemy and last but not least use W for maximun DMG

On the other hand if you use R for a gank make sure the enemy doesn't see you so u can get fear effect and do the same combo as said before (Q then E and lastly W )

If a teamfight is about to happen make sure all enemies or at least the most important members are gathered so they are in range of your R DMG.Don't rush this or else you may lose the fight.Use bushes,jungle camps,and walls to hide from enemies until the right moment.If the moment is right use your R and focus with the combo (Q ,E ,W ) the enemy with the most DMG.

Last but not least be ready to use flash after you R so you can get close to enemies.Fiddlesticks cannot escape that easy so you better use flash to do DMG than escape.Because Fiddle is squishy tho here is where the core item Zhonya's comes to place .Press it if you low or feel the enemy team will focus you.Your ult will still work even in Zhonya's so don't be afraid to use it.Closing remember that Fiddles R may be a suicide for him but the key to win the teamfight, don't be afraid to die if that means you win the teamfight,unless fiddle is way ahead he should be more a DMG suppoting role than the teamfight carry.
