Champion Build Guide
Introduction
Hello, and welcome to my guide for hybrid Varus! Your first question is probably "what do you mean by 'hybrid'?", and to that I say I'm referring to the fact that this build include both AD and AP items. One thing that makes Varus unique from many ADCs, is that his Q and E scale with AD, while his W and R scale with AP, meaning he has a good mix of both built into his kit already. This build utilizes that, building both AD and AP.
Disclaimer: I don't think there is any one 'correct' way to play a champion, all of this is based off my personal experience playing Varus and what I found to work best for me. There are so many possibilities considering runes, item choice, and play style, so what works for me might not work for others, and that's okay! My goal is simply to share what I've found to work for me when playing Varus, and hopefully this guide will find its' way to someone else who likes it! Criticism and feedback is also always welcome, as I am open to trying new things in terms of runes and builds. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this guide and find it useful in some way :)

Strengths
-can one-shot squishy enemies with W + Q
-R will also do a lot of damage
-manamune gives you lots of mana so you don't run out
-W + Q does decent damage to tanks with little MR

Weaknesses
-your autos will not do a ton of damage, nor will your E or your Q by itself
-without W your main source of burst is gone, and W has a long-ish cooldown
-very reliant on your abilities for damage, without them you are not nearly as useful

Tips and Tricks
Best combo
By far your best combo is R, E, W + Q, and then some autos. It doesn't have to be that exact order, but generally you want to use R first to root the enemy and keep them distanced from you, and then follow up with your other abilities. You can use W + Q either to get them low enough to kill with E or auto attacks, or save it for last as a sure way to finish them off.
