Intro
I know that everyone is box happy with Shaco, which is good, butt you need to learn how to put them in the correct places, and not to be to predictable, unless you're fighting a dumb team then screw with them ;). I usually place a box in a bush a box behind my wave and a box in between, at beginning soloing top, when the enemy comes into to attack you kinda have a surprise for him. For some awful reason people like to ignore jitb's don't ask me why, I'll place them there and then 5 seconds later they hit me in a wave, boy oh boy what a mistake. The key thing is to be always ready to get away, have a box at your back and a box in the bushes, just in case, people have this habit of not letting you know when enemies are coming. I suppose I don't trust random teams now, but you can carry them so don't worry. Well 1 jitb's can really hurt while 2 is pretty much over at the void staff, farm farm farm, in the beginning I thought it was trap trap trap, but that didn't float well when I was lvl 5 and they are 10 =_=. With Shaco you must practice, predict, and plan. People ALWAYS try to over power you, because you're squishy Shaco, couple boxes in the bush+clone+you= them dead, if not you should have ran :). You need to think on your feet, just make them cry when they're over aggressive like bots.
I choose CD reduction so I can get away quickly spam 2 shiv, and my clone is once a minute, giving you plenty of play time with your clone and if you use him wrong, he's just around the corner. Magic pen... well duh you like your boxes and shivs to hurt :) I promise if you don't die lots that the enemies will cry so much. Mana regain~ because you run out of mana fast when you're spamming your shivs and boxes, by 10 you are not running out of mana :) and clarity fixes you up if you do run out.
Well, I always start with boots, because its good to be able to get away, Lol. I also grab 2 hp pots and 1 mp pot for some fun in the lane. After you play with your opponent for a while you can run back and go for the book before you go for stinger, you need that mana regain and AP more then AS, don't worry you'll need the AS soon enough. To be honest I can win with just a Nashor's Tooth, because it allows you to get your jitb's to 9.6 seconds, so you can set up a bush or get away quickly. Well at this point you're thinking you could swing either way build wise, of course I always pick AP, the damage out put at this point isn't the greatest but more then enough to own people. So next you build your void staff, and you get to watch the dumb people get pealed like bananas :). Deathcap is next and well you just hurt them rediculously now, there is a downside, you can be fed buttt your team might have fed and then you might be in a dim spot. The dimmer your team the harder it is for you :\. The last items are your choice really, just get AP stuff, rylias for example to run your clone in and when he pops they get really hurt and slow, and it gives you and your clone survivability. Well you may notice that I only get lvl 1 boots, its simply because if I get any faster they wont be able to keep up, and where would the fun be, on the flip side that means you need to know how to get away, good jitb's and deceive away. When I do get higher boots its mobility so I can reach my traps to finish them if they're unlucky enough to fall into one.

CLONE, use it to look out or to double team people. It will take ults for you, it will get you outa fights. It will surprise enemies, use it as if it were you not as a bomb, unless situation demands bomb then well yeah let them see the boom :). Try to lead them to your trap with your clone, its perfect, lotsa pain and tons of gain :) Oh ya, you can use this to escape death shots or stuns by popping your clone at the right time.
