This build is how I generally plan my Shyvana to play.

It is not tested in ranked or anything beyond normal games, but works for those normal games.

Way to play is quite simple later on

DRAGON CHARGE (R) --> DRAGON WALK (W) --> DRAGON ANGRY (Spam Q&E)

But as you are but mortal, that might end in you being too rash and dying before securing the kill.

Therefore, as human, poke them to weaken them.
Use E whenever you think you can hit them, and Q whenever you are punching them. USE W AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE, IT IS AWESOME. (Also for minion kills) Then when they are low on health or your team is nearby, unleash the dragon.


Why I picked this skill sequence? Very simple, W IS AWESOME. I like to have a good fireball for poking, but when doing a build that doesn't focus much on AP, after that, I also need to do Q first. I just have a human error that makes me like fireballs. Because fireballs are awesome, like Dragons.

The masteries are as described above, variations can easily be used for Shyvana depending on preference. I generally prefer the offensive tree, so it is easier to secure a kill quicker. I DON'T take the increased critical strike skill because I don't build her critical strike focused.

Up to Stark's Fervor is how I normally have been building Shyvana in these past days, the ones after are those I also consider valid. Hextech Gunblade and Guinso's moreso for the hybrid character (Trinity force would work also), Sunfire for the more tankier build and it also would go well for thos who want to build Atma's with Warmog's.

But really,
Shyvana loves FROZEN MALLET
It's like, her best friend that she always takes with her.
And wits end and Guinso's together make her to match jax's passive in awesome.
Starks Fervor is a personal favourite, and makes the world a lot better in team fights too.


If the enemy has a lot of CC, mercury treads is a good alternative shoe.

Use your team! Shyvana is a great initiater with her ultimate, and if her ultimate is used to drag several enemies towards a friend who is ready to kill, they just have no chance.
