Introduction

Welcome to my guide on how to stop being a bonehead. Here, I'll be sharing with you the secrets of the speediest zombie in all of Runeterra. Fundamentally, Sion is big and slow, so by the time you lock this build in, you'll be catching enemy champions off-guard with the sheer speed of your strikes.

Pros / Cons

+ you are almost unmatched 1v1
+ you can sustain very well while outnumbered
+ you farm like a madman
+ you'll build huge hit points without the need for itemising for it
+ mid-to-late game, you can take down turrets with barely any creeps

- you will be focussed down, almost assuredly, later in the game
- the items you need can be quite expensive to obtain

Runes

The rune setup that i use is: 9x greater mark of strength 9x greater seal of alacrity 9x greater glyph of alacrity 3x greater quintessence of strength What this gives you, right from the start, is 15 extra damage, and 12.5% extra attack speed. Now, runes are interchangable. If you feel you could benefit from mixing and matching, go right ahead. this build will work no matter what runes you use. Another excellent choice is to boost your armor penetration.

Masteries

The masteries I use are placed 22/0/8 built to maximise your damage output, while giving a nice little boost to Sion's pretty laughable mana reserves. If you feel you would benefit from mixing and matching, again, feel free to. but for best results, leave the offence tree as it is.

Skill Sequence

Sion's skill sequence is very subject to what you're going up against with this build. Basically, what you're aiming to do is to start with Cryptic Gaze and take Enrage on your first level up. You want to get Enrage maxed out as soon as possible, but taking Cryptic Gaze at the start will make it much harder for your laning opponent to escape you, and with the right laning partner, you can almost guarantee an immediate gank. Obviously, put a point into Cannibalism whenever you get the chance. The least important on a good day is Death's Caress, but it's helpful to pour some early points into it if you're being badly hurt, as one point in Cryptic Gaze will do exactly what you need it to do.

Items

This item set turns Sion from a bulky, slow hard-hitter, into a lightning-fast super-hard-hitter. When you finish your build, you'll be managing almost three attacks per second, and your damage per attack will be huge.

Start with a pair of Boots of Speed and a couple of health potions and head to your lane. once you have some disposable income, head back and get your Berserker's Greaves. Your next priority is a Phantom Dancer, followed by The Black Cleaver, then another Phantom Dancer, then a Sword of the Divine. your last item is up to you, but the choice should be between Guinsoo's Rageblade, Hextech Gunblade, Infinity Edge or, if you find yourself dying a lot, Guardian Angel.

Summoner Spells

The best choice here is exhaust. It will be your best friend. your second spell should be either Ignite, for a little extra damage and to lower your enemy's healing potential, or Teleport, to get you back into the action, or to take the action elsewhere. There really aren't any other viable choices except possibly Ghost, but late game, you'll be moving too fast for them to outrun you anyway.

Summary

Using this build, You'll attack faster and more often than even Twitch or Teemo, and you'll be doing a good deal more damage. The speed with which you can take down your enemies will leave them without the time they need to react to your assault, and you will walk away from the battle with a nice green victory banner.

I hope this guide helps anyone who decides to use it. please leave your feedback on how you think it could be improved, if you feel you know something I don't, and most importantly, stop being a bonehead.
