Game Start

So at the start of the game the idea is to deal damage to your opponents in the lane while conserving mana. Personally I like to upgrade Rake then Noxian Diplomacy then Cutthroat. Then try to max out Rake unless opponents in your lane are getting beefy.

How to play Talon safetly

So before you get to level 6 and still in the laning phase, when engaging use Noxian Diplomacy then Cutthroat. After this combination aim your Rake at the most efficient direction dealing maximum damage to your enemy.

Ultimate

I really enjoy Talon's ultimate at higher levels because it's cool down is around 30 seconds enabling me to harass the enemy team constantly. How I do this? I do my Q E W combination then go ultimate in a direction to get away and reactivate it to deal explosive damage. This manoeuvre is also very effective in group harassment. Do this by using the Q E W combination in the heart of the opponents clutter and then activate your ultimate and don't reactivate it. Get some ground and then let it activate it self unless there is a kill on the line. This move can deal damage to the opponents crippling them for team fights. Make sure you do this fast or you may get caught and die for Talon is quite squishy.

Assassin

Talon is a terrific assassin. The way I like to use him in ganks is by using Ghost losing some distance from the target enemy then do the Q E W combination and if possible use your ultimate and flash out if there is a turret(diving).

Running

How I like to run with Talon? When I'm running and I'm exhausted or slowed or debuffed I like to Cutthroat at the chasing along with Noxian Diplomacy and Rake then running in the other direction. If you can do this move a couple of times on the same opponent, he may be weak enough to kill.
