What I Think of Talon

To most people talon is a sustained melee fighter/assassin, dive in and keep fighting; well your wrong, Talon should be on the outskirts of the battle field waiting for a fleeing helpless carry on low health to cut-throat in and burst the @#!& out of them. Talons Ulti is on low cooldown for a reason, and thats to make use of it; dont save it for that special moment, use it when ever u need to; escaping, getting that last hit on an out of reach kill, ganking, etc.

Skill Sequence

When jumping in to take out another helpless victim, Cut-Throat in, immediately Rake them, get your Noxian Diplomacy on them, if that hasnt made them low enough for an AA kill then ulti and run or Flash infront of them to finish the kill.

In Team fights, Cut-Throat to the lowest health or squishiest Champion you can see; Noxian Diplomacy them for some quick burst, then use your ulti to draw the attention away from yourself, this allows your team to move in on their confusion and allow you the opportunity to chase fleeing enemies.

Items

I chose the Dorans Shield as a start off item as it provides a sturdy foundation to take hits early game, it allows you to fall back and regen your helth and gives a bit of armor for that extra sustainability. Rather than early attack speed from the Beserkers Greaves I chose to go with the Boots of Swiftness as i found Talon lacks movement speed late game when chasing down prey. Chose Youmuu's Ghost Blade for obvious reasons, some Armor Pen, Attack speed, and that little bit of crit chance. Straight after Youmuus I rush B. F. Sword for a big damage increase, and then follow with the Blood Thirster for further damage and life steal. Frozen Mallet is essential to talon; 1. to benifit his passive, 2. for health to sustain in team fights. Sheen gives you that extra blast of damage just before your Noxian to utterly smash your enemies, By now Infinity will render your opponents helpless at your feet. Tri-Force to give more movement speed and extra health.

Most games I get as far as Blood Thirster, Sometimes i reach my Sheen but hardly ever complete my build as it does get pricey near the end but mostly the teams i verse surrender by then :D

Side Note: i usually have my Youmuu's on the third slot and have set the activating hotkey to my scroll wheel on my mouse for a fast activation. (use this item all the time)
