Hi. I'm TornadoStyle and i'm going to show you how to play jungle Jarvan. Let me explain some words i use in my guide.
AD: Attack Damage
HP: Health Points
Ulti: Your ultimate skill, 4. skill which opens at 6/11/16 levels.
HoG: Heart of Gold
J4: Jarvan IV
MS: Movement Speed
ASPD: Attack Speed
CD: Cooldown.
That's it for now.

Let's start with masteries. There's nothing much to tell about masteries. First of all Jarvan needs smite to jungle. So i gave 1 point to Plentiful Bounty to jungle faster. Hardiness, Harden Skin and Defensive Mastery will help you a lot in early game when you're jungling. Utility mastery will improve your buffs from 3 mins to 5 mins so you'll need it too. As you see Greed will give you 1 gold every 10 secs and you need a lot of gold in early game when you're jungling. So Greed is important too. Awareness will give you more exp so it will help you to gang faster. That's all for now..

Martial Cadence

Nothing much to say about it. It's a good passive against champions and minions both. And it makes you easier to last hit.

Dragon Strike

It's kind of a ranged skill for Jarvan so it's an important skill. It lowers the targets armor and it deals a good damage. And when you combine it with Demacian Standart you'll flag toss enemies into the air. I'm gonna tell you more about Jarvan's combos later. Lets move on to the next

Golden Aegis

This skill helps you to engage team fights and catch running cowards both. You got an armor and you slow the enemies. It's a good skill for his combo.

Demacian Standard

This is the most important skill for me when you're jungling with Jarvan IV. It gives you attack speed and armor. A jungler cant expect much else! Armor for defence against monsters, and attack speed to do more damage. And it can be active to buff your teammates. Bonus armor and attack speed when you're in team fight, Hell yes!!

Cataclysm

You must use this skill wisely. It's important for ganging and team fights. It forces your enemies to use their flash ability. You can use this ability to catch running champs or you can use it to engage team fights. By using this skill you can drive the enemy carries out of business. Like i said before use this skill wisely, it very important for team and yourself.

As you can see i go E-Q-E-E-W-R-E-E-Q-Q-R-Q-Q-W-W-R-W-W. Demacian Standart is an inportant buff when you're jungling. You must give 1 points to Dragon Strike 'cause you need to do your flag toss combo when ganging. And if you engage team fights, Golden Aegis will help you when you're engaging.

Lets talk about Jarvan's combos a bit. You can do this flag toss, arena and armor combo when ganging. E-Q-R-W as you see. Practice with J4 and watch some streams or videos from youtube. You'll understand the combo, and you'll do it faster and better.

I took armor pen. for marks and quins. Armor pen. will help you in every stage of during the game. Armor will defend the attacks from the monsters in jungle and armor pen. will help you to do more damage on monsters. And last magic res. per level. Why magic res. per level? In early game you wont need much magic res. Better to take magic res per level.

I choose flash because it makes easier to gang, engage team fights or escape from a gang. Every jungler needs smite for me. So i took smite for better jungling speed.

Well we came to the most complicated part of the guide. I'm gonna explain only core items that i take and additional items you can use. Otherwise it'll take days and days to explain.
Don't get confused with normal core items and attack/tanky core items. Normal core items is the items that you must do in every game. You got no other chance. Attack/Tanky core items are optional. If you want to play attack J4 take the attack J4 core items, if you want to play Tanky take the Tanky Core items. You have chance to change your "in game going" build.

CORE ITEMS FOR JARVAN IV:

Wriggle's Lantern

This item gives you armor, AD and life steal. These will help you in every stage of the game. It's unique passive helps you a lot when you jungle and it makes you kill baron and dragon faster. Unique active will give you a free ward every 3 mins. You can ward very critical places for free with this item.

Mercury's Treads

Movement Speed, Magic res. and tenacity. This baby will save your sorry ***. You wont find better boots for Jarvan. So don't ask too many questions and take it ^^

Heart of Gold

An additional 250 HP will help you a lot in team fights and gangs. You got 5 gold in every 10 secs. This passive will help you to get better items faster in game.

CORE ITEMS FOR TANKY JARVAN 4

Phage

18 AD, 225 HP and a passive to slow your target. Don't want to about AD and HP anymore, you get the point of AD and HP. I want to about its passive. With your Aegis skill, you got a free exhaust skill. This will slow your opponent so much that you wont need to use your ulti.

Atma's Impaler

This item will give you Armor and AD both. For being tanky J4, this item rocks!

CORE ITEMS FOR ATTACK JARVAN 4:

The Brutalizer

+15 Armor Pen., +25 AD and %10 CD. With your runes, this item will combine good!

Sheen

Not much to say. With this item you will own some ***es for sure..

ADDITIONAL ITEMS:

Philosopher's Stone

Philo Stone gives you additional gold and its passive stacks with HoG. You'll got a good mana reg. and HP reg. But i don't prefer taking it. 800 Gold is an important amount. If you guys want it you can take it. It'll help. But think about the 800 gold. For me it's waste of gold...

Force of Nature

MS, a lot HP reg. and magic res. You can use this item in late game to become a god.

Lets make a straight summary about what i told.

For Tanky Jarvan (which i prefer):

1)Use the first build.
2)Take a look at "CORE ITEMS FOR JARVAN IV" and "CORE ITEMS FOR TANKY JARVAN 4" section.
3)Take flash and smite as you summoner spells.
4)Go E-Q-E-E-W-R-E-E-Q-Q-R-Q-Q-W-W-R-W-W skill sequence.
5)Use my 1/13/16 mastery points.

For Attack Jarvan (which i dont prefer):
1)Use the second build.
2)Take a look at "CORE ITEMS FOR JARVAN IV" and "CORE ITEMS FOR ATTACK JARVAN 4" section.
3)Take flash and smite as you summoner spells.
4)Go E-Q-E-E-W-R-E-E-Q-Q-R-Q-Q-W-W-R-W-W skill sequence.
5)Use my 1/13/16 mastery points.
