This build was made for the ability to have crits for about 900 on squishy characters and still have the tankiness of being able to stand up to punishment while not lifestealing. Nocturne being in a very good postion for ganking because all of his abilites help in his ganking potential.

The runes in this build were made to be optimum in the jungle. Having armor pen reds gives you the ability to go through the armor of jungle creeps while the flat ad quints give you bonus damage with your Q and normal auto attacks. The armor and attack speed are pretty standard.

The masteries are pretty standard for offensive jungling.

This order can be switched if nessicary to warmogs atmas then infinity edge if you need to be tankier a bit earlier depending on the enemy team compositions. As well as after completing your build sell your wriggles for a blood thirster.

He is extremely strong in jungle and his spell shield allows him to gank against heavy burst ap characters as long as you use his abilitys correctly. In my opinion in the new jungler he is better to be played as a farm jungler and only gank when the lane is in need of help. With nocturnes Q and passive you can clear wolves and wraiths in only a couple hits. However he is not too strong when trying to counter jungle an enemy character.

Pros: Nocturne is a very good ganker at almost all levels. However his ganking becomes amazing at level 6. His jungle is pretty versatile with multiple paths.

Cons: He is decently squishy early game, and is hit particularly hard by counter jungling.
