I bought Taric this morning actually, played with some AP builds and it worked out quite good! He is a very simple character, he can be either tank or caster. I only play him as caster, because I hate tanking.

The good thing about this build is you dont need to have any runes before it will slay anyone who stands in your way. Pay attention to low hp (half full) use flash then "E" and finally "W". If this doesn't do the trick use Ignite to get the kill.

I play Taric very aggressive, especially early game, and mostly 5v5. If you can get fb you will most times lead the game with your massive damage. You have to go pretty much full AP but i usually only get to Rabadon's Deathcap, and on my way to Archangel's staff and then the game is over, either because they surrendered, or they had a way better team.

I build Taric like this: Doran's Ring, Blasting Wand, Boots of Speed (upgrade as soon as possible to Sorcerer's Boots), Needlesly Large Rod (get Rabadon's Deathcap as soon as possible after), Tear of the Goddess, Blasting Wand (go for Archangel's Staff quickly after or just skip Blasting wand and get it straight away), after this you farm on kills mostly and maybe a few minions now and then and get Lich Bane, get Void Staff as soon as possible after, then you sell Doran's Ring, and as soon as possible you get Rylais Crystal Scepter (if you need the health get Giant's Belt and build it out from that) You will end up on about 600 AP and your burst will be something like 1k close up:)

That would be the build, I tested the build in other orders and found out that this is the best order. I would love some comments so leave a comment or start a discussion, I'm open for new ideas!:)
