Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Team-fight/late game oriented
Good damage output
Slow to start
Must have map and team awareness
Nukes with stuns or snares are dangerous early on
Masteries, runes, and skill/item sequences are all geared to survivability but still allow for very decent damage output. Remember, make it to late game without feeding with this build, and you will destroy your enemy in every team fight without a single person dieing.
Early game, Warwick will start jungling, with Galio taking the 2v1 or 1v1 top spot. Galio needs to farm effecting to make himself useful, and this is an effective way to do it. Some argue against a jungler, but not using your (and the enemy's) jungle is wasting valuable money and experience. Warwick needs to remember though that lanes and helping other champs come before jungling. He should in the early game be actively ganking at opportunities that your enemies allow, and taking over lanes so someone can fountain. Mid is a toss up between Malphite and Cho'gath. I prefer Malphite in the mid spot, he needs tons of cash.
You should have a few kills on your team roster, and hopefully no feeding. GRATS! You have made it past the hardest part of the game. From here on out, the team should be moving together to lanes to make use of their ults together. This team can start pushing lanes fairly early on. This is a good place to note the team fight strategy for this build. Amumu is going to be your main initiator, getting in the bunch and ulting as many he can. Galio needs to be ready to set up his ult after. Malphite and Warwick should be saving their ults for chasing stragglers. The big thing here is do not use all of your cc at once. Spread out your exhausts and ults. Don't go all in at once and everyone ult. The point of cc is to keep someone from being able to harm your while you harm them. Keep it spread out, and cc their most dangerous team members one after another after another. Cho'gath should save his silence for the second Galio's ult ends (if they are still alive). Three exhausts, Amumu's toss, Malphite's Q and ult, Cho'gath's Q and E, Warwick's ult, and Galio's slow and ult can last through the longest team-fight. While some people might say that this build has no damage, they are severely mistaken. You will not die, and you will get kills. Side notes, Amumu should be getting blue as often as possible to keep up his crying during team fights. It's devistating having Amumu's cry on through the entire length of Galio's ult, not to mention the multiple sunfires.
It is over. If by this time you are not owning, it is because you had someone not playing their role, have no team co-ordination, or you got smashed very hard early game. Either way, no build can compensate for those situations. Continue team fighting like before. There is so much cc and damage here that they should not stand a chance. (It is good to note that even with a pretty bad start this team comp can come back and still win by a landslide).
In conclusion, this is a build meant for five people that know each other and work well together. Vent or any kind of verbal communication system (I've heard of people using teamspeak still.... *cringe*) is a big plus. Always remember, good teamwork beats out OP champs, bad comps, and bad starts ten times out of ten. You are not a carry meant to get all the kills and glory, you are a teammate looking for victory!
*Please comment on the build even if it is just to bash it. Spam down voting doesn't help anyone out on this site. It is a community based site to help people get better at a game where we all hate the "noob" coming in and messing it up for us. Nobody will ever get any better if all you do is hate **** people.
