Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
The Mad Hatter
Your damage output with this build will be over the clouds.
You will find this is more efficient in Dominion. Although it works just fine in normal games laying 2-3 traps in highly transited jungle routes is one of the best ways of getting kills. Lay the boxes a bit apart and just wait. Try refreshing the boxes a.s.a.p. and new strategic locations.
-"This will be fun".
In order to get away from danger walk towards your boxes. You might as well get a kill. Plus the fear in the boxes is wonderful. If your ultimate is up, go into a bush cast it, then deceive out. Hold Alt and click the enemy in order for your clone to attack it while you get away. Best distraction ever.
-"Now you see me, now you don't"
When you believe a team fight will take place, try to intercept enemy player in the jungle on their way to the teamfight, lay down your boxes and destroy their existence.
IMPORTANT NOTE: REMEMBER TO ALWAYS SET A BOX TO ESCAPE ANY COMPROMISING SITUATIONS. YOU CAN EVEN SAVE YOUR TEAMMATES.
IMPORTANT NOTE: NEVER CHASE/FIGHT TANKS, EVER!
-Best nuker ever.
-Incredible damage output with clone's explosion.
-1k+ crits with Two Shiv Poison.
-Best teammate for team fights.
-Unreliable early game.
-If caught you're dead.
Personally I use Flash and ignite. It can help you lane and guard jungle at the same time. When an enemy is spotted by your boxes you flash in and ignite to secure the kill. In addition to that, your flash can help you lure enemies into your traps. Without a doubt you will encounter Tryndameres so having ignite can you just, again, secure another kill.
Other possible spells can be Clarity instead of flash, this will automatically remove all thsoe mana potions in the build which can be replaced by any other item you wish I suggest health potions. Teleport having boxes all over the place certifies you can teleport anywhere.
In order to farm with Shaco, use your basic attacks to last hit minions, and use your boxes to prevent the enemy from reaching you. Besides the boxes can be use to tease the enemy laners. In addition to this it prevents melee champions from hurting you, again, thanks to the fear from the boxes.
IMPORTANT NOTE: YOUR FARMING SHOULD COME, FOR THE MOST PART, BY KILLS AND ASSISTS (this improving your Mejai's).
Creeping / Jungling
Jungling is barely suggested at low levels, basically given your low hit taking capacities. Although great to counter enemy junglers. You might encounter low health enemies that most likely have various abilities on CD and are not in optimal conditions to fight.
This Shaco build is actually highly efficent with melee partners, just as Shaco they will not get hit thanks to the fear. Just don't lane with a support, it is counterproductive. This Shaco build allows you to solo any lane. The boxes keep enemies off from turret divers. Remember to use your boxes to twist Team Fights and use your clone to nuke on numerous enemies at the same time.
If played the right way. For example, Tryndamere which is a commonly seen champion, and worst of all probably the best carry-fighter ever. Remember that Tryndamere will come at you when he sees you are alone or running away from him. Use clone to distract him while you set boxes, as soon as he kills clone, and receives its damage, you jump in and fear him. He will probably be close to win this encounter to run to your previously set boxes which will guarantee a kill or a safe escape. Fighting range champions is slightly different. Your use deceive to jump in, use the big crit that follows the deceive and set the box a.s.a.p. use your ultimate, making you untargetable for a few seconds, a.s.a.p. use deceive and set another trap, if the champion is getting away use Two Shiv poison and chase it down.
IMPORTANT NOTE: When fighting Tryndameres and Garens remember to put the boxes a bit apart this will prevent their spin abilities from destroying your boxes.
If you find unnecessary to buy 3 Rabadons, you might want to change for Zhonya's Hourglass, please do activate this item's active when find yourself on CD's and some melee fighter is killing you where you had your boxes. Your sixth item can be any defensive item, depending on the enemies.
