Introduction

First Champion build I have done on here, but I have had VERY VERY much success with it and was told I should publish it to see what others think. First off, this is NOT tank Caren, it is DPS, the way riot intended him to be played I believe. Let me know how you guys like it. Thank you for your time reading, please comment.

Runes

For runes I take armor pen quints and marks so that the dmg your going to have get through anything. for seal and gylphs I take resistances to balance myself out and get a little beef to him

Masteries

For Masteries I I take 22 into offense making sure to get into havoc as it's very very important to the build, in defense I take resists and armor only for a little more beef in utility I take ghost and time spent dead, though the last point and the point in the offensive tree can be placed where you like.

Items

for items I start with a dorans blade for the extra hp and the 10 dmg, may not seem like much but will most likely draw first blood to the first person walking into the bush that you will be spending much time in.once you've gotten enough gold that you want to go back you can decide weather to not you are fast enough or not. if not pick up boots and start building into those, If you happen to be fast enough to get to your opponents begin building your youmous ghostblade, once those two items are finished, start building your hexdrinker, here again. if you feel beefy enough take the dmg first if not start with the resistance. once that item is out of the way you should be dealing decent damage and only want to add onto it. beging your first infinity edge starting with your first bf sword, I always tend to take the more offensive items first myself but can be swapped around in anyway you like.once that is done decide between you atmas and your next infinity edge, both will add onto your damage so it's not a big deal if you feel you need the armor pick up the other as you finish they build head back into battle

Skill Sequence

force skill sequence I prioritize judgment as it for the most damage over time. next taking into Descisive strike for the silence at lvl 2 for the speed and effect. I take 1 point in courage for the damage reduction. ( i found that taking this skill helps a ton and used to not do it due to losing some of my offensiveness, after a few life saving time of having the opportunity of taking my courage I decided it better to make room for it in the beginning. take ult as you can. finishing out with courage at the end

Summoner Spells

summoner spells I take exhaust for the slow and armor reduction, speed is your friend when playing garen. the closer you can stay the more dmg you can put out.ghost is taken for the speed boost weather getting into or out of a fight. with both summoners up, should guarantee a kill if your time yourself correctly.

Pros / Cons

PROS: Fast powerful, dogs loads of damage, has a silence and and ult capable of dropping hp enemies fast.

CONS: tends to be a main target and you have to watch and keep yourself from dangerous situations, not a tanky as most other builds so will take some getting used to.

Farming

As far as the laning stay goes, last hit minions in your lane ( do not auto attack and push the lane ) stay in bush as much as possible. try to lane with someone who has a good early game game cc to hold them in place, as you go to engage, silence them to turn off all their ability and then being to spin after them. laning stage is Garen's best stage so stay in the area as long as possible. when your enemies die look to mid for a gank as well as most times you can gank mid due to a missed mia or poor warding control
