Me and Sion has had, a past together, I started playing him ever since his rework, and yes the first few times, I didn't see the potential, to be a main for me, he was my most played champion in Season 6, only problem I had with him, he wasn't mobile or anything and that's why I changed to Udyr in Season 7, Now that Season 8 rolled out, the new runes, have given Sion that edge, over the other champion.

My play style with sion, is just go in, and let your team, find the perfect time, to join, this leads me to look like and inter, cause for some reason, my team wouldn't just follow up on my ults, that's all good. Since you are a tank, you can endure a lot, in the late game with 6000+ hp and more armor, and magic resist your only weakness is just CC, having a huge hitbox is bad in that regard but like this, you can just make people waste flash, or ults and next time, they won't have it.

The build get's you to 40% CDR and with that a level 3 ult's CD is around 36sec, and well if it's a long range hit, that **** hits like a truck. And while they are too busy with you your team, comes in and you all destroy them, Sion doesn't need to snowball, he just needs to stop other from snowballing, and then you are gucchi in the late game.
