LoL Summoner Spell: Clarity

LoL Summoner Spell: Flash

Hello everyone this is my first build so I thought i would share it with the rest of the world.
I have been using Zilean as my main since the beginning of the game and I have been experimenting with a variety of builds for him. So far this one works a whole lot better for me than any other and so I thought I would share it on Mobafire to see if others would also enjoy it.

I chose my masteries for the sole purpose of eating champions while keeping myself alive/harassing the enemy champions. If you decide to build your Mastery trees another way then I wont judge. (such is why I left my rune page clear)

I start off by getting a Meki Pendant and 2 Health Potions so that I can continue staying in lane until I have (at least) enough gold to get Ionian Boots Of Lucidity on my first return.
As soon as you get Tears of the Goddess you should have no problems with your mana supplies if you use your abilities rightly. (read about in skill sequence) After you get the Archangel's Staff you should be set for mana and ability power for a little while. I decided to build into a Guardian Angel because I was always targeted first in team fights, and rather than use my ulti on myself I would get Guardian Angel and ulti my teammates. After I get the survivability I need from Guardian Angel I continue working for ability power with Rabadon's Deathcap. The reason I get Zhonya's Hourglass is because it provides good armor, ability power, and one hell of an active ability (besides your not a master of time if you don't own an hourglass). Finally I get Banshee's Veil for a little more survivability against mages with magic resist/spell block.

How I Play

Early game (Level 1-6) you want to be careful but at the same time harass your opponents to stay under turret. ONLY use rewind either when your saving a laning partner or going for the kill, DO NOT spam rewind after every move until you have your ulti otherwise it will be a waste and you will run out of mana far too quickly to harass the enemies (yes you do have clarity but only use it to either bait the enemy team or too survive).

Mid Game (Level 6-12) You are relatively squishy but building into Guardian Angel so that you can survive, as soon as you get Guardian Angel you can start having a little fun with your enemies by bringing them into tower range expecting the kill, reviving and they will stay in tower range, then reviving again. (I have done this many times with noobs, some rage quit after doing this. NOTE: this only works with 1 MAYBE 2 enemies otherwise you will die)

Late Game (Level 12-18) You are now probably the squishiest champion in the match however you deal killer damage with your Bomb-Rewind-Bomb combo (especially against squishy mages: eg. annie annivia etc.) Always try to be with a teammate because remember: Zilean is a SUPPORT character, I realize I build him somewhat like a nuke but all this ability power/mana leads me to revive characters with near full health, and speed up allies/slow down enemies with Time Warp with mana to spare.

If you are laning against some melee champions what you want to do is place a Time Bomb on one of your minions as they are running by, they will run into the fray and deal some nice damage before your even close to them.

At the end of the game there you can always stay relatively back in a team fight because you will be targeted pretty hard... so what you can do is place 2 Time Bombs in the madness, retreat into a bush, some amazing damage will be done, just make sure you don't let your teammates die as they will get very angry at you.

At level 18 you can use Time Warp - Rewind - Time Warp as much as you like and you will go all the way across the map in no time.

As I said it's my first build that I'm putting out there in the world, I left the runepage open for you guys to do what you feel like doing. I'll probably only check this build about every month or so (maybe sooner if I'm bored) but I will do my best to answer you guys with any questions you may have. (however I will not say runes, you can sue me) If I get over an 80% rating I just might make another.

I'll see you all in Summoners Rift.
