Tryndamere was my first character that I bought and was actually good at. For a long time I didn't really understand how to play him effectively, but, now I feel that I do pretty well :)
When I first start with Tryn I usually just buy the Brawler's Gloves and 1 heal pot. The extra crit from the glove's makes it easier to build your stacks of Blood Lust and keep them up. I only use the heal pot if I absolutely cannot keep myself up with BL stacks.
After laneing for some time you should be able to down an opponent if not get First Blood. You just have to be very careful since most likely you will not have your UR yet.
If you were lucky enough to be able to gank someone or get First Blood then you should be pretty close to getting your zeal. I wouldn't suggest anymore heal pot's as BL from this point will start to give a pretty respectable amount of health back, especially if you wait about using it till your pretty low. You can add up some pretty quick stacks that way.
Before completing my first Phantom Dancer, I get my boots, extra attack speed + crit from zeal is a pretty sweet combo. After this point you should have your UR and be able to harass like crazy and be able to kill low health champs even at their towers IF your CAREFUL. Don't pop UR too early (or too late). And be sure to save your BL stacks for the very important heal after your UR if you just happend to not kill your opponent.
After you have gotten your Infinity Edge the rest of the build is really up to you. I prefer to go with another Phantom Dancer and 2 Black Cleaver's. Typically the match is over before I get the Black Cleaver's, but, I have been able to get all the item's with early ganking and, I have seen my crit numbers hit over 1500.
In closing, please remember, it's all about patients, being able to judge your opponents wisely, and most of all, HAVE FUN! I hope you have liked my guide. As stated, this is my first one, so, please be kind :) Maybe I will be able to make some other guides later on. Thanks for reading and have fun playing Tryndamere: Death in a can!
