Honestly, the new patch update has dominated/nurfed this build.
Definitely -1 vote.

Sorry, but even my build is unaffected (actually buffed nicely) with the new build.
Tanking Twitch has gone downhill with the new patch due to the lack of attack speed and damage output.

Hmm... What about the one before it (10/9/9)? It still doesn't prove much since the screen shot is only of one game which is why I'm playing Twitch a bit more often to show how well my build works before actually taking a screenshot. (people prefer me Nunu though xP)

There are all to take into account when it comes to a score.
Did the other team feed, as in were they not playing their best, new character, or sucked?
What summoner level are you and the opponents?
Did they target you or others?
    Were there leavers?
Was there any lag for you and/or the opponents? (this makes a huge difference)

Example 1: My best ever was 51/2/6. This does not make me a pro at all. I remember that no one left that game, but they just stop targeting me out of fear, because I've gotten too powerful too early in the game from kills.

Example 2: I've gone many games where I lose, but have a hardcore kill/death ratio of 5:1, but my teammates are not doing well at all or lack teamwork.

Example 3: A few games I get targeted all the time. Like this one time, a Tryndamere would go straight for me and run out. Literally just to kill me. My build was wonderful and raped, but I died often due to Tryndamere.

I do understand that builds are not the best for everyone (especially without fluctuating summoner levels) and depends on your play-style with each champion as well, but this is one of those builds for players who die way too often with Twitch. Overall I think this build is for average players (since they think Twitch is too squishy) for the one reason that you have many situational items as your core...

I'll toss my 2 cents in here also.

If you are going to use dodge runes, why not grab Nimbleness? (Drop a point in Ardor)

Getting Debilitating Poison at level 3 is such a huge mana drain. If you can't pull a successful kill off, you will be mana-less for a while.

I've also got to agree with the others, with Banshee's Veil and Defense Masteries, I still can't call Twitch 'tanky'. Perhaps a bit more sturdy. However, you are sacrificing so much damage for a little survivalbility that people can still rip through easily. You are Twitch, he was destined to not have a lot of hp and armor. : (

Your point in Embers, and 4 in Alacrity is misplaced and should be placed in Archaeic Knowledge and Sorcery. I've found that the CDR and Magic Pen is more important for Twitch than 10 measly AP. 10 AP to be absorbed my MR, or to reduce 15% Magic Reduction?

This guide is pretty good, but I'd like some of those simple things fixed up, and I'll gladly come back and +1 it. Great Job, +0 for now.

This is my last 2 games with this build. I have clicked on the last on, the game i won.
Anyhow, it is your opinion on twitch, and you prefer to build a different way. If it works for you, why change it? :P But this build worked for me a lot of times, without sucrifising damage capability. All in all, its my playstyle. Thank you for saying your opinion, even a -1 matters :D

Have Fun!

Just because one builds a champion with defensive masteries does not necessarily make it a tank.

While you do lose out on some DPS, you exchange it for increased survivability. However, you do have a point in that it's not necessary to go full 21 on defense. Still, just that fact alone does not make this Twitch a tank - it makes him a bulkier carry.

"bulky"..."tanky"...same thing to most of us.
I do understand what you are saying, but making a "bulky" Twitch is like putting a ball and chain on him. You are just killing his potential with survivability. He already (if played right) has a nice survivability with Ambush or by getting a Frozen Mallet Yes, he can be seen with wards and oracle, but you can counter that by killing the person with oracle by jumping out of a bush or calling your team mates to help and focus on him. The wards are even easier to counter by placing one of your own...

Sorry, but even with this whole description, I still have to -1 vote it.
I see this is a nice build on a more "bulky" champion...

Edit: I tried this build twice (not just items, runes, and masteries, but also read on how to play in the description) and ended up with 2/2/8 (WON) & 3/2/6 (LOST). This isn't a bad game, but nor great for a Twitch. I always get 10+ kills and 5 or less deaths with my personal build in which has no "bulky" items. I can tell you that I'm not a pro Twitch, but I definitely know how to play him. I believe I've gotten more kills with the Sunfire Twitch (messing around and also saw your funny builds) than this build... >.>

There is a reason people target you. It is because you have a large potential on your hands and if you don't bring it out, then you are not a carry, but rather rat meat struggling to become one. His raw stats do not involve much defense for a reason.

Insert (icon=The Bloodthirster size=20) but replace the ( and ) with [ and ]

So you'll end up with

To change the size, modify the number next to "size="

To change the icon, modify the icon next to "icon="

Thank you :D

Tanky? Wrong. Just because you get a Banshee's Veil does not make you a tank.

Archaic Mastery is a bit more useful than Burning Embers. Other than that, the build looks good.
