First I'd like to start off saying, this is a damage team wrecker build. Pushes out as much damage in a short amount of time. Burn through a full team in seconds. *High Success, High Reward*
What Type of Build?
Also that this is a build for both the New and Experienced. You can use this build with either a lane partner or if you go solo. If your completely new to the game or twitch, he is a Squishy (low HP) yet Dangerous (high damage) champion. He is known for coming into a battle stealthed and spray and praying + Expunging to get his kills. I refer to him as a *Glass Cannon* Fragile like Glass, but hits like a Cannon. So if your looking for a build that will get you high scores, help your team and also have fun, I have the perfect build for you.
Twitch's attacks infect the target with Deadly Venom, which deals damage each second, stacks up to 6 times, and lasts up to 8 seconds.
Twitch hides in the shadows, waiting for a nearby enemy. If he attacks, he will gain bonus attack speed. After 1.25 seconds, Twitch becomes stealthed for 20/30/40/50/60 seconds. If Twitch attacks a unit while Stealthed, he gains 20/30/40/50/60% attack speed for up to 10 seconds, depending on how long he was stealthed before attacking.
Infects a target with a crippling poison, slowing his movement speed.
Slows nearby enemy champions' move speed by 30%, plus 6% per stack of Deadly Venom they have.2.5/3.25/4/4.75/5.25 second duration.
All nearby enemies secrete Twitch's toxic venom from their bodies, dealing damage for each stack.Deals 30/60/90/120/150 (+1) magic damage to each nearby poisoned enemy, plus 20/30/40/50/60 additional damage per stack of Deadly Venom applied to them.
Spray and Pray
Twitch closes his eyes and fires his crossbow as fast as he can, spraying piercing arrows ahead of him. Twitch gains 40/60/80% attack speed and his attacks become 1000 range line missiles for 7 seconds, dealing 100% damage and poisoning all enemies hit.
This is the a common use build with some changes, I myself use exhaust for either slowing or blinding to get away. If you prefer different Summoner Skills then do not get improve exhaust and put into Archmages Savy, or if you use Ignite, you can switch the two around. Then in Utility I mixed it around, You want to get the Perseverance for more Regen. and the good hands just helps late game for faster spawn time and to move to the next tier in the tree. Next is the Awareness, this is for more XP early game to help you level and gank. Then finally is Utility mastery, getting the neutral monster buffs are very helpful if used right. They keep your mana high, CD reduction, bit more damage. So having these for longer help just like an item would.
Currently I have this for a fast early on expunge, because besides your basic shots, this will do the damage, and only a few hits on an enemy+ couple hundred damage can instantly kill. You always want to upgrade ambush early on also, so you can stealth around, you aren't maxing this first, because usually between 1-8/9 is usually farming phase for XP/Minion Gold. It All depends on your play style. And also you want to upgrade Debilitating Poison, once early on, so if you do go for the gank or trying to get away, pop that and it slows them down. Anymore then rank one is a waste in the beginning. Then get expunge early on, then ambush. At level 6, get Spray and pray, that's the killer for twitch, It can be useful not just in team battles but 1v1 trying to burn an enemy. If you want to hold off from it till later, say 8-9 you can, but earlier the better. Ambush + S/P = High Damage and Attack speed.
This is pretty self explanatory, for your Marks and Quintessence you want Armor Pen. Helps for taking down tanks and blowing through champions like no tomorrow. For Seals is attack speed, this is for early on and mid-late game. Faster attack for twitch = More damage/More Poison = Higher damage overall.Glyphs you want Cool Down reduction, some people vary on this, but i found it the most helpful. Faster expunges/Spray and Prays and also getting back into stealth faster, combined with the Blue Golem buff you can get a -6 second re-stealth.
This is one of the most argued topics.First you start off with "Vampiric Septer"This will help you early game, gain HP back from being attacked from either minions or players and will help you build to your future item. Next is "Berserker's Greaves"Attack speed and movement speed are critical when it comes to twitch, especially early game. Players don't nearly have a build going early game usually, so faster attack is critical. You can also go with "Boots of Mobility"just for getting across the map faster, but its all Preference. Next is "Malady", Life steal and Attack speed, mostly used for its stats, but the effect is also nice, attacker takes damage of 30 when attacking you. So can help burn a player while your poison is ticking.Next is the "Brutalizer",it with help you build towards "Youmuu's Ghostblade"It helps for more armor pen, damage and can activate for more attack speed. You can also decide instead of "GhostBlade" to go with "Sword of the occulate" this will help highly with damage and give you an extra boost for speed if stacked to max. But once again, it all depends on the player. Next is "Recurve bow"and "long sword"this will help you build towards "Last Whisper"This is very helpful, for the Armor pen and Attack speed.Next is the "Pickaxe"and "Mardred's Razors"this will build towards "Madreds Bloodrazor"Very helpful for burning enemies HP, Attack speed and damage. You will have 2 slots left so out of the 3 items it takes to make them, you can pick the two you want most. I find these to be the most helpful. Finally, the last item can be your own choice. You can go for armor, such as "Guardian Angel"Because your in late game, so a quick respawn is helpful, or "Thornmail"So your attackers take a bit more damage. Or if you prefer to go with another damaging item, such as a favored "Infinity's Edge"but its all about the player.
When first starting off with twitch you want to buy your first item, then get to a lane. Usually as twitch, your own lane is best/going solo, but if your with a partner, a tank or stunner works just as well.At first you just want to pile up the gold as high as you can. Get the last hit on minions while also watching out for your enemy(s). Twitch is a great at harrasing, get 1-2 shots on an enemy and letting the poison tick and/or popping expunge to do some nice early on damage, dont be afraid to go for the kill, but also watch your health. Low level those minions can do some damage to you. If you follow the summoner skills listed above, (Exhaust/Flash) These can work to your advantage early on, timed right, you can do some harrasing early on, getting your opponent fairly weak. Then bait them out some, pop ambush, get to the side or behind and start shooting, if they run away, exhaust and flash if needed and finish off with expunge. Early kills and you can get higher then your enemy(s). If your with a lane partner, work together timing your attacks correctly and you should get the same result.
Once you hit level 6+ its your time to gank, see which lane is having trouble or who wants help and is ready for a gank. Once you find your opportunity then strike, depending on how the enemy is on health, you may want to wait for your team, if not then try picking off the 1-2 enemies and get out, you never want to stay more then needed. And continue doing this throughout the match, when you get to around 12, thats when i see team battles begin, and you dont want to go for the pick off, unless your sure its going to be a success. When it comes to team battles, twitch can be the shinning star, allow your team to engage and come in behind your team while in ambush (even though you should always be in it) then pop out attack and use spray and pray and let the enemy team have it. If they start running away use your "Debilitating Poison" and slow them down for your team and yourself, if you see an enemy almost dead then use expunge while still spray and praying. This should either do one of two things... Kill the enemy team, or if your team isn't "the best" attract alot of attention to you and die. So be careful and use your summoner spells to your advantage. Same applies to end game, hopefully with a good team, you wont need to last into the high levels 17+ but sometimes it happens and use the same tactics and by then your build should be almost complete and the damage/kills will be insane!
-Twitch relies alot on his stealth, so pay attention to if enemy players have "oracle elixir" because that will be your complete downfall. Also picking one up yourself isnt to bad to spot totems early-mid game.
-Don't be a hero... Alot of times you will see 1-2 friendly champions being ganked or almost dead, most players will want to go and help, if you know you can finish off the enemies do so, but don't charge in and die, its one less kill then the enemy needs.
-Pay attention, twitch's ambush is only a 20-60 second stealth time, and if not timed correctly can end you up in plain view for the enemy to kill. So watch your ambush timer, and plan correctly, if its almost about to run out, get into the brush or fall back.
-Neutral monster buffs, in 5v5's the Red and Blue buffs are both amazing for twitch, so be sure to pick them up when you can. They will help you add damage, help with Cool downs and also keep your mana pool up.
-Baron!? Not always a good idea, alot of times players will want to go for the Epic Monster "Baron" but it isnt always a good idea, alot of times your team will get jumped by the other team and they will get the buff then rush your base and finish you off and win. So either do one of a few things, scout around baron, so your team knows if enemies are coming. Provide a distraction in another lane so your enemy doesnt see just fog of war and think you guys are at baron. Or help you team, with twitch's burn/burst capability with a decent team, you can have him down in 15- seconds.
-Play smart, watch where enemy champions are or aren't, call MIAs, and work together!
Finally I want to thank you all for reading this and taking the time. This is my first posted build and it does wonders for me and hope it helps you as well. If you want to mess with the build to your liking, feel free. But good luck to you all and hope I could help.
