okay start off with boots then 3 health pots, use transfusion to last hit the creeps, having boots for a first item is advantageous to vlad cause he got no mana so he can carry 3 pots, and vlad has transfusion making you lane longer than usual. with fast movespeed at first you can own the lane by harrassing the enemy back and forth with transfusion, use tides of blood to last hit creeps as well and red pots to recover lost hp from tides of blood. farm until you get ionian boots, why ionian? this reduces cooldown of your skills thus making you spam more for lane control and farming. vlad isnt a nuker like annie so his best bet is spamming skills. farm until you get hextech revolver then will of ancients and then another revolver, this gives you ap and high spell vamp making your transfusion heal you more and depletes the health cost of tides of blood, adding a spirit visage gives you health and magic resist as well as cooldown reduction for spamming. this would make you survive in clash, you maybe wondering why this 3 items first, it does not do alot of damage because its a low ap build. i tell you this low cooldown = more spam = more damage = more hp = survivability and you have AP as runes so no need to worry. :)) after these three build a rylai for HP, AP and slow. and rabadon for NUKING. Lastly the hextech gunblade this gives you AD and lifesteal making you a force to be reckon with 1vs1 this also gives you another skill. :)
