Introduction
Event Horizon is also great for people that like to play aggressive champions like Master Yi. Let them get too close to the tower, then catch them with an Event Horizon. As a general rule, as soon as you see Master Yi start his teleportation, have Event Horizon up and ready to cast with a click of the mouse. He might end up in a very unfavorable position--take advantage of that.
Primordial Burst is a HUGE surprise at level 6. Most players don't realize how much damage this ability really does. When most people are still allowing themselves to get below 20% HP without recalling because it's early-game, Primordial Burst is a devastation. Make sure to always either quickly cast a Baleful Strike before this, or to quickly follow this up with a Baleful Strike, just to ensure a kill.
I almost always get Exhaust as a summoner ability to give me an extra gank early-game.
Veigar continues to be a great harasser, with some better ganking ability.
Move around the map whenever your team needs you. Veigar is great as a surprise ganker; if a teammate in an adjacent lane has an enemy champion at less than half health, take a quick waltz over, drop an Event Horizon with a Dark Matter, a Baleful Strike, and if you have it, a Primordial Burst. Quick ganks really help to build momentum, and this should help boost your gold quickly.
This is about the time when you don't have your own personal lane. Push where it's needed, help gank when you see an opportunity--or, if you need to, ask your teammates who needs help with ganking.
