Hello.This is my first Volibear Solo Top guide here so i hope you like it and help me improve it with your comments below! :) Also i am sorry if there are any English mistakes.





Volibear

I bought Volibear when he was released because when i watched the spotlight i sayed to myself wow a bear champion it`s going to be fun.Earlier in school my friend advised me to play him as a pure regeneration tank as not as many people play him.I find that very powerful but what do you think? :)

Pros:
+Very easy to play and learn
+Almost the best solo laner in the game because of his survive ability
+Heavy early game damage
+Can be good jungler and solo top laner
+Has one of the strongest passive in the game
+Has a great chase ability
+Nearly impossible to gank






Cons:
-Makes you think you are invincible
-Weak against AD Carry solo top
-Enemies can dodge your ultimate
-Has high cooldowns

Here i will explain how to deal vs hard solo top champions




-She is very rarely seen on solo top.But when she does she is playing AP.If he is good akali you can have hard early game but if he isn`t so good he will be easy target with your

Tips- You may want to buy early oracle's elexir
-Dont try to Harrass if she has her
-You may want to grab little magic resistance



-That beast is hard believe me.He can harras you like a boss without losing Hp and Mana because of his if he is really good cho'gath you can have hard times


Tips-You may want to last hit more because you will eat his harras if you try to atack
-Try to call your jungler to gank more often
-You can build little magic resistence for more defence



-That guys is just one annoying ****.This champion is your most effective counter for solo top.He can shut down your passive with his true damage from his you can only play defensive and last hit.

Tips-You can try buying lots of armor and health.
Call your jungler for a gank if possible.
You can grab an early



This guy isn`t that hard but never underestimate him after the ner.He can counter you well with his Spin2win also can be very painful before you hit lvl 6 after that he will be easy target if he doesen`t call his jungler for ganks.


Tips-Never slam your FACE into bushes because he can stab you with one good
-Don`t push your lane hard
Watch your healthbar if you are low on hp dont rely on your passive





- Hueueue,this guy can be very annoying because he can harras you everytime you try to last hit a minion.Don`t harras or try to kill him if he is low on hp he will just burst you down with his combo


Tips-Try to avoid his buy lots of magic resistance because he does too much magic damage
-If you are low on Health try to stay away from him because he can just Hueueue on you with his Mace
-Do not atack him if his shield is full try to wait for a blind spot



She can just ruin your early and mid game if you aren't careful.At 1 lvl she can do to you tons of damage and if you try to harras her she will just jump back and make you stick to your creeps.


Tips-Try to catch her blind spot where she has all her abilities on Cooldown.
-Try to avoid her ultimate because that can be a big pain
-Call ganks whenever is possible




This guy can counter you pretty well and make you hug your turret in high elo.Just play defensivly and wait for a gank


Tips-Don't check bushes after lvl 6 he will just ruin your day.
-Try to wait for a chance to atack him where he will be powerless
-Call for ganks is your best option if he is too aggressive to push your lane



Just try to avoid his harras and dont push your lane hard .After lvl 6 he will be pain in the ***.Try to call for ganks


Tips-Wait for his spells to be on CoolDown.
-Save your
-Call for ganks

Pretty standart tank masteries i seem to view the best option for volibear but your playstile may be diffrent and you can also play him in offensive and even if you want in utility.

Another pretty stand tank choice for runes too because you will need this survive ability to dominate early and mid game

-I chose to get at lvl 1 because you got extra utility and you can flind your target behind you and if he tower dived you will just get First Blood
-Than i max out because you get bonus atack speed for last hitting creeps and also its perfect combo for putting you enemy to sleep with early game

-After that i max out my last because i only use it to clear minion blocked paths and eventually to slow my oponent

-Obviosly you get your whenever is possible at 6,11,16 you can use this ulti to clear large creep waves and stop your enemy at owning you.

Obviously i star first with because you get early game armor health regen and nice a bit of hp with your runes perfect early start

-i get this because later i upgrade it into a spirit visage in my opinion this item is what makes volibear a beast early and mid game but lots of people play him without this item and that what is lowering their chance to be a proper BEAR

-These are the best boots for volibear in my opinion the tenacity is just great for engaging team fights


-Next i finish my Spirit Visage and start dominating my lane very easy because of its special effect works perfect with my passive and heal summoner spell


-This is the item what makes volibear what he is a beast who is rushing towards you and preparing to eat you up like a maniac ^^.


-This is the imet which allows you to get health like a baus and keep your AD.This makes you a tank with excellent amount of AD with which you can dominate team fights very easy.


-Moar damage and health nuff said on that case.


-And what makes a good bear without a guardian angel this item is your key to victory if you manage to buy this and complete your build because your enemies will surrender like on the 25th minute but still if you maneged to get to late game full build this will bring you the victory.

-This is the best summoner spell for volibear i noticed that many people use and or but that spell will just save your life in 1v1 or in teamfights many times thats why is so OP


-Obvious summoner spell nuff said you can use this to get in or out from teamfights and also great tool for chasing and escaping


-A good spell for teamfights and if you are getting focused by heavy CC this can be the solution to your problem


-Very often picked spell but i dont find it very usefull because you have your and you dont need that


-I wouldn't reccomend this spell because you have enough mobility


-Usefull spell only early game late game this becomes pretty much useless
