If your using aftershock which in my opinion is the best rune for volibear support because your making him a cc tank.It’s best to use prowlers claw as you can q and prowlers claw for the instant stun as they will not expect you to build prowlers claw or you can build chemtank and go zooom zooom and stun them
Ap
If you need more ap on your team you should take either cnqueror or commet.In my opinion conqueror is better.Ultimate hunter is a must for ap Volibear.Its best to have some tank items also.If you are going ap then YOU MUST MAX E FIRST then q second

This season assasins are very strong so prowlers claw is verysrong on Voli as you can q prowlers claw and instantly stun them.You can go with aftershock or conqueror both are good.
