[ Good ban ] Braum has great peel for his carry. His bonus resistances on W gives the enemy ADC a pretty good chance on surviving your engage, combining his jump with his E, he basically turns into a wall. Not to mention his CC.
Counter: Play around his high CDs and mana costs on early game. Late game, you'll need to find a very good opening, where he doesn't have his R or E.
Alistar
Alistar is a big threat. He can nullify your entire kit, has great disengage potential and if you pull him, he can combo your adc to turn the fight around.
Counter: Play around his high CDs and mana costs on early game. Late game, try to engage his backline after he engages your team.
Taric
Taric is a decent fighter on the early game, which makes Pyke less of a threat on lane. Similar to Alistar, he can combo off of your Q, essentially helping him. His peel and AoE invulnerability can neutralize any engage tries on teamfights.
Counter: On lane, try to separate his carry from him and bait out his E before engaging. Late game, try to make picks instead of fighting 5v5, so his ult isn't as efficient.
Thresh
[ Good ban ] A good Thresh is a nightmare. He stacks armor pretty quickly, so you can't kill him. His desengaging potential with his E (Which displaces your E and cancels your Q) and infinite CC can nullify Pyke pretty well.
Counter: Try to capitalize on his level 1, where he can't have both of his CC tools, abuse bushes so he can't see where you are engaging from. Late game, try to circumvent his vision, in a way that you can access his backline before he sees you.
Shaco
[ Ban out of spite ] I have PTSD just remembering going against a good support Shaco. He can deny your hooks and your entire engage with good box placement. His Q makes him essentially unkillable on lane and his ult can tank for your Q once again. Maybe I'm biased, but this is true nightmare fuel match-up.
Counter: Try to punish his ADC because Shaco don't have that much peeling potential. Be careful on late teamfights to not execute his clone so that he doesn't explode dealing massive damage.
Sylas
While I do not see THAT many support Sylas, it can still happen. Generally, Sylas has a great dueling potential early game, denying your agression early-on and most importantly, he can steal your most valuable asset: Your R.
Counter: Try staying out of sight from Sylas before a fight so that he don't take your ulti and mess up the entire fight. Go only when the fight starts or the Sylas doesn't have his own ulti.
Poppy
Like Sylas, support Poppy isn't very popular, but if you happen to go against it, note that her W cancel your E and provides her a nice amount of tankiness when low. Her early dueling potential is surprisingly good, so don't be a fool.
Counter: Use your E more defensively on lane, if you use it to engage, she can just cancel it and you are just a sitting duck. On teamfights, take care to not be canceled and try not to be hit with her R.
Zilean
[ Good Ban] Zilean is a noteable threat. His R obviously counters your ulti; his point-and-click MS buff makes your kit entirely dodgeable and his stun can kill you in the right scenario.
Counter: Abuse Zilean pre-6 and take notes when he has his ulti, so that you don't waste yours.
Elise
I haven't played that much against Elise, but her early burst with thunderlord is something to be reckoned and her stun can be annoying.
Counter: Just dodge her stun before going in or you're dead. Take care of your ADC if she tries to jump on them.
Lulu
[ Good Ban ] Even tho, she is just a enchanter, she is THE enchanter. Lulu's polymorph can make you die instantly if you go too soon on a fight, her last second ulti can deny your ulti and her peel is unmatched.
Counter: Take note of her vital CDs, noteably her polymorph and ulti. Try to kill her when out of position, so she can't mess up a fight.
Morgana
[ Good Ban ] Morgana is the typical CC denying support, so it's natural that she's one of Pyke's problems. Her CC chain can kill you if you don't build any tenacity, but almost all of her counter's to Pyke center around her shield.
Counter: Play around her shield. One thing you can do is baiting the target that you're aiming for, for example: When laning, if she is by her carry's side, hold your Q and wait for her to panic use her shield on her or the ADC and aim for the unshielded target.
Nautilus
[ Good Ban ] I can understand if you have a bad time against Nautilus: Two point-and-click CC and a hook. Personally I don't have that much of a bad time, I usually try to abuse his pre-6, which isn't the best. Pretty much a skill matchup on the laning phase. The real problem is on late game.
Counter: Abuse his early stages of the game where he isnt tanky enough and don't have his ulti. One cheese strategy I usually do against Nautilus is: I stay in front of a wall instead of my minions and when he throw his Q, I dodge with my E so that when he gets pulled to the wall, he gets stunned, that can lead to a kill. On late teamfights, wait for him to waste his CDs, or you are dead when it's time for your engage.
Renata Glasc
Basically a Zilean, but a little less annoying. The only thing that she can do to counter you is nullifying your reset.
Counter: Wait for her W to wear out and take note of it's long CD.
Blitzcrank
I think there's a entire season that I don't play against this champ. Blitz's CC is very threatening, if you get hit by Q -> E -> R, you are pretty much dead on some states of the game. Skill matchup.
Counter: Abuse your mobility to make him waste his Q, but be careful when you know that he is a good Blitz player.
Soraka
Despite being a enchanter, her heals are really annoying if your dumb allies don't buy anti-heal. Her E can't be deadly too, canceling your Q.
Counter: Abuse the first to second level, where she doesn't have her E yet and try to build anti-heal if your adc don't do it. Try to kill her out of position before teamfights if possible.

Draven
Draven has a lot of damage early on, especially if he has HoB. It's easy to dominate lane when Pyke is paired with a Draven.
Jhin
Jhin is perfect 4 the early game, his damage and W stun combo really well with your engages and his ult can prepare enemies for your ult.
Lucian
Lucian is a lane bully, guess who has the same title? His damage with PTA is incredible and he has mobility for a follow up or disengage.
Kai'Sa
Kai'sa with HoB, or even Lethal Tempo, can stack her passive really easily with your two stuns that helps stacking it doing tons of early damage and she can survive well without your peel in the late game.
Nilah
Nilah can follow up your engages really well, doing good AoE dmg and CC with her ult grouping up enemies, you can line up your R and she can heal a bit from your passive as well.
Samira
Samira is a lane bully as good as Lucian and with Pyke she can even 2v3 or 2v4 with her ult.
Tristana
Tristana explodes enemies combining her bomb with HoB and she has a great escaping tool. Furthermore, a good Tristana can push an exploding bomb with her ult at enemy backlines, so you can reset your R.
Xayah
Xayah have a great laning phase due to E damage + a really good stun. Late game, she has a great escaping tool with her ult or galeforce.
Yasuo
Self-sustaining champ, and you can combo with his ult due to your knock-up, or line up a tornado with your E. Also, his ult, if used well, do tons of AoE damage.
Caitlyn
A good caitlyn can be the dream's synergy. I like to play it on comms with a mid to good cait, comboing early CC with her traps almost always leads to kills.
Varus
Varus do a bunch of damage when hitting his Q in a stacked enemy which usually leads to a ult. His ult can be a good CC in teamfights too.
Ezreal
A good Ezreal, especially playing with PTA or Lethal, is deadly with Pyke. His early AS and damage is unmatched and his survivavibilty to survive solo laning or late gaming fights without peel is awesome.
Karthus
[ Jungle ] Global burst ultimate, very good wombo combo.
Nunu & Willump
Excellent gank potential and AoE burst ultimate, Pyke's dream duo.
Taric
Pyke and Taric combo go brr.
Alistar
You didn't expect this thing to be here? Seeing Davemon play Pyke-Alistar in botlane fells amazing, and I even tested with my friend. Underrated duo.
Miss Fortune
MF has a great laning phase and because her core item is Youmuus, she power spikes even earlier, but in the late game, she benefits more from a good peel to compensate her lack of mobility, and Pyke don't provide it very well.
Sivir
Sivir is surprisingly good with Pyke, with her spell shield she has some self-sustain and survavibility, and she has a strong AoE damage, so you can combo greatly with you ult.
Vayne
Vayne has some damage early on with her passive W, she melts tanks on later fight, which pyke suffers from, and Vayne can use her ult to survive a lot on fights. Her biggest problem is her laning phase.
Zeri
Zeri is surprisingly good with Pyke, with a good AoE damage too, and she can survive very well late game due to tons of MS. But I think another supports synergise more with her.
Karthus
[ APC ] (Not very) skill dependent, hitting just to Q's on an isolated champion, which Pyke can prepare it easily, converts to a pretty much easy kill.
Brand
Great CC combo and passive can dish out some unexpected early damage. combined with cheap shot can lead to massive kills. His AoE ult can smash late fights.
Jinx
Jinx is a very tricky synergy. The passive ones, who likes to farm and scale to the late game, playing passively at tower is pretty much a bad lane, but when your Jinx stacks lethal tempo or get passive, she can dish out a surprising amount of early damage. However, Jinx usually prefer a more peel-oriented support.
Kalista
I haven't played this duo that much, but from minor experiences, Kalista has good early game too, doing great damage with HoB and her E, but she can benefits more from a tank support for peel.
Syndra
Unlike some apcs, Syndra has some good damage with thunderlord on the laning phase, and she just explodes enemy threats at mid to late game.
Veigar
Veigar's cage with your pull is a great combo, and most of his survavibility comes from his cage, so he isn't a great champ, 'cuz of terrible laning phase, but you can do something with him.
Seraphine
I haven't played this duo as much as other, but I guess you have a hard time with apcs like Seraphine, due to low damage laning phase. But at mid or late game, her high CC and damage ult setup your resets very well.
Twitch
In the laning phase, Twitch can deal great damage using PtA and his fully stacked E, combined with his Q to make some sneaky attacks. Later in the game, Twitch have a great AoE damage combined with his R, Runan's and his E on later fights, but he don't synergise with Pyke 'cuz he needs a peel champ, like a Lulu.
Aphelios
Aphelios kit doesn't seem to synergise with Pyke at all. I guess Pyke benefits from Gravitum (CC weapon), but a good aphelios tries to keep it far from his weapon rotation and Aphelios need more of a peel support in teamfights.
Ashe
Ashe's strongest point comes with only with 3+ items, at this rate, Pyke isn't as useful as a peel or tank support. However, if she stacks lethal tempo and you hit Q, enemies can't get away in lane.
Swain
Good combo potential. Early damage kinda sucks to be honest
Kog'Maw
Kog'Maw relies on a peel support to compensate for his low mobility and bad early.
Ezreal
However, I tend to dislike playing with Ezreal just beacuse every damn player I encounter play so passively with him and can't benefit from his survivability and good early damage and AS, or just don't hit their skillshots. Very skill dependent.
Senna
I guess Senna can do damage after buying Kraken Slayer, but her kit don't synergizes with yours.
Ziggs
Almost everytime I go with a Ziggs, he push enemies from my abilities, with his W. I'm biased towards him, but I don't think he can synergise at all with you.
Smolder
Zero early damage scaling ADC, you can't provide the peel necessary for late game smolder.
Yunara
No experience at all with this champ, but I think she's kinda similar to ashe, but unlike her, Yunara hasn't a powerfull slow-applying passive.
Corki
No experience at all with this champ, but I don't think corki synergize well with Pyke's early.
