Wukong, the sneaky monkey
Hey, I am pretty recent to League of Legends, but I love the character Wukong and use him constantly. I like to focus mostly on attack speed and damage while still maintaining a little survivability.
Get Nimbus Strike first for early harassment, and then follow it up with Crushing Blow to give extra physical damage. Then add Decoy to complete the harassment process, then alternating Crushing Blow and Nimbus Strike to build attack. Take your ulti at 6, 11, and 16 like always, then after maxing both CB and NS finish Decoy.
Speed and Strength
With Wukong it helps to build attack speed and attack damage in order to get out ahead at the beginning, using his Nimbus Strike and Crushing Blow to cause loads of damage and also be able to chase down and finish off enemies. After you have built the incredibly helpful Phantom Dancer and Infinity Edge, you can concentrate on even more damage and also getting health back, but if you find yourself too squishy, buy Bloodthirster before Infinity Edge.
However, an alternate build can very well occur if you find yourself too squishy, and you can always focus on Trinity Force. I usually don't focus on ability power because Wukong's only AP move is Decoy, and I don't usually try to get much damage out of that move. However, TF does get you everything else you need with attack speed, attack damage, and health. After TF, try building Infinity Edge again do get yet more attack damage and crit chance.
If you decide to build health by going Trinity Force, Heal is most likely not as useful. However, if you build attack speed, damage, and crit, Heal is very helpful for keeping you in lanes and team fights.
Flash is almost always necessary, as it can help you build on your already impressive chasing and finishing ability. Also, Ghost accomplishes the same thing, but with Phantom Dancer I hardly think it is necessary.
Wukong somewhat lacks a strong 1v1 fight potential, but is invaluable in team fights. His Crushing Blow is helpful for taking down armor, his Nimbus Strike allows the chasing down of enemies, and his Ultimate allows for a great AOE to hit all the enemy champions with. In team fights, i recommend dashing in with NS, using CB to lower armor, and then pop your ultimate to knock your enemies up and do area of effect damage. This knock-in-the-air move is perfect for team fights, as it can halt the opponents retreat and also let a teammate get away. Also, the combination of Nimbus Strike and Cyclone allows your team to catch up to an enemy who might have Flashed or Ghosted away.
Also, the combination of Wukong's move allow him to easily retreat after a team fight has been lost. Popping Decoy almost always allows for a quick retreat and if that doesn't work, try dashing to an enemy minion to get away. If all else fails and you are still on the run, either Flash or pop your ulti, as it gives increased movement speed.
