Chapter 1

Story

In the Plague Jungles, Kong ruled as king. He could wield a unique, natural form of magic and he was driven by zealous ambition. The Plague Jungles were the ideal setting for fostering his growth - he thrived on challenges and flourished in adversity. However, when he had surmounted every obstacle and defeated every opponent, he grew restless. Worried that there was nothing left to overcome, he sought counsel with the monkey sage who lived behind the Grand Waterfall. The sage told him a tale of hairless monkeys to the north who, with wits and strength, bent the world to their will. Kong was overjoyed at the prospect of such worthy competition, and he immediately set out to the north, hoping that the sage's story was true.

Traveling north, he crossed the Southern Wastes and then the Great Barrier. Unaware of the League, he arrived outside the Institute of War where he found Master Yi in meditation. Kong was eager to test the strength of these northern warriors, so he challenged Yi to a duel. Intrigued by Kong, Yi decided to humor him. Within moments of his first strike, Kong knew he was no match for Yi. To be the best, he would need a mentor. He asked Yi to take him as a pupil and to show him the wonders of the northern lands. In return, he would honor Yi by becoming the greatest warrior Runeterra had ever seen. Admiring his passion, Yi agreed, but only under the condition that Kong would one day teach the lessons of Wuju to a pupil of his own. In the spirit of this agreement, he renamed Kong ''Wukong'', and gave him a weapon suited to his unusual nature - an enchanted staff that the young Doran had crafted. The weapon was an unrivalled masterpiece. After rigorous training, Wukong joined the League of Legends to fulfill his promise and show the world the true power of Wuju.

''The first step to wisdom and greatness is realizing how little you know.''
- The first lesson of Master Yi

Masteries

I take 0-9-21 to stay longer on lane. In Utility tree we take upgraded Teleport , must have experience masteries and Greed for some more gold.

Runes

For runes we take:

Greater Quintessence of Desolation
Greater Mark of Desolation

Those two should give you armor penetration which will help you not only early game, but also lategame for more damage.

Greater Seal of Resilience
Greater Glyph of Shielding

And those two should give you more sustainability on lane and in teamfights.

Summoner Spells

I prefer taking Teleport and Flash for solo lane, but you may prefer to change Teleport for Exhaust . I find Flash being very overpowered and game changing spell and it helps a lot in doing Decoy escapes. If you know your jungler and he can hold your lane when some1 push and you are back, you may prefer Exhaust than Teleport. Remember that Teleport can help you to get 4v5 Drake.

Items

You start with Regrowth Pendant and 1x Health Potion . If opposite sololaner takes Boots (your support use CV) you may also take them and 3x Health Potion. After first back you take Boots of Speed and Philosopher's Stone . Then focus on fast farming and get Sheen as fast as possible. Now it's time to get kills and finish your Mercury's Treads . Your goal is B. F. Sword which wins lane and follows to fast The Black Cleaver . Now focus on defense. If oppossite team has a lot of cc you should get Banshee's Veil starting with Negatron Cloak . If they focus on attack damage get Thornmail . Then buy Phage and finish your Trinity Force . Last item is finishing Banshee's Veil and buying Atma's Impaler . If you still have gold buy Shurelya's Reverie .

Decoy

I'll add this part later including in game screens.

Gameplay

Early game you should focus on lasthitting. Wait for jungler ganks and try to get early kills. Always use your ultimate in teamfights and then focus squishy characters first. Well, nothing more to say atm.

Changed nearly whole item section.

Deleted jungling section, because this guide is about solotop.
Removed Lantern because building it was very long and instead you already have like Philosopher Stone and Sheen.
Kept The Black Cleaver because you only need B.F.Sword, but that's the cheapest item you can upgrade it into and it works pretty well with your Q.
Accepted feedback and introduced Sheen and Midgame Trinity Force.
Removed Frozen Mallet, kept Atma's Impaler.
Added Shurelya.

Summary

I will update this guide all the time and I will include your feedback! Feel free to post if you would like to know something or change. This guide is done by player for players!
