Introduction
What's All This Business About Bananas?
First off, May I apologise... I'm not as Savvy with coding as I should be. This guide is going to be very brief and clean. You can find hundreds of other guides detailing every movement and choice you should make as a Wukong. I will leave it to them.
Wukong is and has always been my Favourite Champ... and though the Guide may be lacking damn near Everything you're used to, I do hope you give the build a chance.
I'm not going into Great Detail here... as I am not knowledgeable nor patient enough to make this section beautiful.
The items really do speak for themselves.
In the burst build, you are highlighting Wu's built in Armour Penetration and Exceptional Damage. The Brutalizer is core to competing in lane as a Wukong... It gives you the Early Armour Pen and is even nice enough to give you a bit of CDR. Frozen Mallet is wonderful... As if it were built for Wukong it gives a substantial boost to health, a decent attack damage increase, and Ultimately allows you to finish the job with the built in slow. Last Whisper is the coup de grat... it enables you to tear through your opponents in crucial moments when your sustain doesn't match someone like a Shyvana, Riven, or Jax.
In the defensive build, the idea is genuinely the same... you are just building in the opposite direction. And yes, I do build both Warmog's Armor and Frozen Mallet. I know many will take issue with this. However, the pay off is reward enough once all that health is stacked onto your Atma's Impaler. As a defensive Wukong your primary objective is to initiate and immediately disrupt an enemy team with Cyclone. I assure you, you will be focused hard and fast and will need every bit of health you can muster.
Bloodthirster is a great item on either build... gives you sustain and damage as an attack Kong... and even more survivability as off-tank Kong. That being said, its pure Vanity... Haha, most games won't last long enough to build it, and if they do it just gets ridiculous at that point.

What it's over already!? Why Yes.
Wukong is not an easy champ to excel with... His laning takes a ton of patience... You will almost always be outfarmed. From levels 1 to 6 he is outclassed by damn near every other melee champ in the game.
