Yasuo is a strong mid lane fighter with exceptional maneuverability and damage. But few use him as a utility fighter as he is intended and best played as. Instead they use him as an assassin and forget about sustain and tankiness. This is a work in progress so advice and criticism are welcome. In addition I will also be editing and expanding this guide as I play Yasuo more and learn his kit. Thank you and I hope you enjoy.

Going into this guide there is so much i could talk about but when it comes down to it, so many guides seem like their way is law when in fact any build is subject to personal play and preferences. That being said, I will do my best to highlight why this build is generally the best and how to play Yasuo effectively.

Early game is pretty hard as Yasuo because it takes a lot of lane management. The balance between over pushing and under pushing is easy to stray away from and he will get punished for any lapse in his management.

Getting into Lane

Buy your items and leash the jungle. After that, move out into lane and play passively. Yasuo has low starting health and very little defensive capabilities. Use q to farm all you like, It's free and has a small cool down anyway.

Pushing

Try to size up your lane opponent and make sure you don't push. Yasuo's whole goal in lane is to freeze it and out farm his lane opponent. Use q and e to trade a bit if your opponent is on cool downs or oom but don't get too aggressive.

First Back

If you have a good jungler he'll be able to watch your lane when you save up for your first and second buys. After you have a few items you can start to push and abuse your low cool down, zero cost abilities.
