E does less damage, pretty simple lol.

Do research and you will see why e is so much better... Any good guild will tell you e first because all the dmg + double cdr on use and wait time to use, while q only plus minor damage so mobility is not as good mid game. Just trying to help the guild since everything seems good other than this.

great guide mate, finally i found someone who don't just add a lot of tanky things on yasuo and call him "tanky ad", i like how items you found for him add some tanky things but in same time keep atributes specifics for yasuo, like AD and movement speed or a little debuff for enemy. but like a not expert in yasuo i want to ask you something linked of his builds, why all people stopped build statik on him after season 6 ended. i seen you add it a chapter about items but probably is very rare a match when someone buy statik insead of phantom dancer.

PD Offers more utility due to bonus move speed, unit collision, 12% damage reduction, more attack speed. Shiv is more for yasuo mid, and offers wave clear.

Pretty decent guide, but why all of the Master Yi montages? The guide is completely unrelated to Master Yi and they take up a HUGE section of the guide.

That's true. I just found it distracting that over half of the guide is unrelated to the champion is all.

Hey autoswitched,

Finally, I started winning stuff with Yasuo. The very first champion I suffered with a lot was Vayne. I got the hang of it pretty early, but I only bought her after I reached level 4 with her because I still sucked hard. Then I got even better, luckily. The same thing goes on with Yasuo. I made it to level 4 with him too, but I keep being stupid as I don't understand things. I kept reading the guide over and over again, breaking information down, and finally I got better. I can feel that I'm improving my performance with Yasuo and I kinda like it. Thanks, man! :)

Nice to hear! Omen helps a lot vs vayne due to the attack speed slow + crit damage reduction :)

You should allways be taking AS marks to hit Q cd cap after pd and to hit fervor stacks faster. And for fck sake don't buy stakik shiv, 1 you wont cap Q cd, 2 Pd passive is too strong to pass on.

Yasuo has only one weakness, and that's his early. AD marks are better for early game as they provide easier last hitting, better trades and yeah. You can get shiv for wave clear, and pd for 1v1s/chase down. I already mentioned PD in my guide.

Great guide. The only problem I got is in which game mode can I practice as Yasuo? I mean, in ranked games are not an option as Yasuo gets banned around my elo, or the enemy first picks him. In normal games, duh...Trolls everywhere, and if the enemy jungler ganks me successfully and our jungler leaves my lane alone, I can only farm up, or after a while just fall off.

Why no lifesteal as third item ?

Whoops, normally I try to reply to all the comments that relate to the guide, but um, no life stile third item due to following reasons:

Life steal generally only helps in lane.

For a life steal item to outheal or offer more overall health than say frozen mallet, you'll need to do a certain amount of damage. E.G. Mercurial scimatar offers 10% life steal, if you're dealing 500 damage per swing, you'll only heal 50 per hit, to overall gain more health than the frozen mallet you'll need to hit them for a total of 14 times, 14x=7000 damage, and you're not a team fight machine unless your team built a team around you with knock ups (Doesn't happen in solo queue often).

tl;dr Frozen mallet offers better chase, kiting, beefy stats with a good build path, and gives you better health to survive burst which life steal doesn't. I usually get life steal 4th or even 5th item depending on what i need.

Obviously if say the enemies got a ton of tanks, i may get a Blade of the Ruined King earlier, but generally Frozen Mallet in my opinion and tests is a better item, and the doran's/mastery will give you enough sustain.

edit: I responded to you but i'm a fool, oh well indepth response ftw

Too squishy. Rather get it either 4th or 5th. You can get away with it in mid lane though.

Hey Autoswitched,

This is realy good guide about Yasuo. Its so helpful and so in-depth and I know you have spent a lot of time to make it. But i have a question. Is it better to get Trinity Force for 2nd item instead of Infinity Edge or Frozen Mallet? Anyway thanks again. Have a nice day.

trinity in my opinion isn't that great, infinity edge does more in terms of raw damage. Components also do more, Cloak of Agility + Statikk Shiv = 100% crit making it more worth your gold. Mallet works as 2nd item just fine due to cheap stats + slow.
