Hello, welcome to my yorick guide! I basically want to help people who are new with yorick become better with this champion and maybe even better players. Before we start on the guide I would like to say that i'm not the best player out there, but i have played a huge amount of games as yorick and he is by far my most favorite champion.

League of Legends can be very frustrating at times, mostly due to players having bad sportsmanship. To get the best performance out of your team NEVER pick on there mistakes and encourage them for performing well, this will help you get more wins. Trust me :)

I would like to make this guild very easy to read, so i would love feed back and lots of it. If your unhappy with it i would like to know how i can make it better before you give that evil red arrow a click. GIVE ME A CHANCE MAN!

The work of gravediggers is essential amongst the living, but invaluable in the Shadow Isles. There are many shades of death there, and each is embraced rather than feared or reviled. One can only ascend from one state to the next with the magical aid of a skilled professional. At the end of the first Rune War, Yorick Mori made his living as a gravedigger. His family owned and maintained the Final Rest Memorial, one of the oldest cemeteries in Valoran. The shovel he employed for his work had been passed down for generations. Each gravedigger taught his son that this shovel was imbued with the spirit of every forefather, and that those spirits would protect him during the long lonely nights amongst the tombstones. To his eternal regret, Yorick died without an heir, bringing the proud Mori line to a close. His body was interred with his shovel in the family mausoleum, and the Final Rest Memorial soon fell to ruin. Death, however, was not the end Yorick had expected.

Yorick emerged on the haunted shores of the Shadow Isles – not quite dead, definitely not alive – still clutching his beloved shovel. He soon learned that with it he could act as a ferryman for the Isles’ undead denizens, helping them climb death’s many-tiered ladder. This proved a curse, as a gravedigger must “bury his quota” before he too can ascend, or so the legend goes. No one knows what “his quota” is. Yorick dug tirelessly, waiting in vain for the day when he would be freed of his burden. As decades turned to centuries, the shame of his failures came to a head. He returned to Valoran to find his corpse, convinced that salvation might be buried with it. When he arrived, no trace remained of either the mausoleum or the memorial. Hope nearly lost, he discovered the League of Legends, and there saw an opportunity to immortalize the family name he allowed to be forgotten ages ago.

Pros

- Great harass
- Gets tanky
- Strong burst and attack damage
- Amazing passive
- Easy to farm

Cons

- Mana at the start can be a problem
- Ultimate will not be as strong if team is low in AD or the person with the ultimate does not use it afectvly after death

The runes in the games is really what suits the player and there style. I like my runes to have good armor and magic resist with that little bit of extra damage to last hit them creeps like a boss. Also the damage helps yoricks ghouls harass.

Like the runes its really what suits the player. I like my yorick tanky with that extra mana regen to make harassing easier early game. Also Legendary Armor will increase that bonus defense form you passive by another 5% and Tenacious makes up for not having mercenary boots.

Flash is probably the best summoner spell in LoL and can help with escapes/initiates and many other things.

Exhaust is a grate summoner spell. Unlike ignite, you can also use it to escape. This with your W and Q will make running away from yorick hell.

Feel free to change the spells to what suits your play style. Some people may like ignite over exhaust at the end of the day its all up to what you find is better.
