This is a simple build that has proven to be effective in any laning or teamfighting situation. In this build you will have great survivability, DPS, and pushing ability.

**Damage stated will be ~250+ with just these items, ignore the table for most parts**

Yorick is a beast of a laning champion, and the starting item of Dorans Blade gives you a decent boost in your health, physical attack, and a boost in your lifesteal with your E early game. Conversely you can pick up a Meki Pendant and a health potion if you plan to go heavy on the harass.

Yorick is a compliment to any lane, solo or with another champion as you can harass with your summons and when your opponent overextends or when you feel comfortable (have gotten kills as early as level 2) you can go for an assault or even a kill depending on the situation.

One reason for Yoricks great laning is his low cool down and relatively low mana costs, and once you get the tear of the goddess item you will rarely have to worry about mana.

Use your E (Omen of Phamine) whenever your life starts to go down because not only on summon when you regain health, each subsequent hit that summon does will also restore health so use this often.

W (Omen of Pestilence) is a great harass skill as well; having an AOE as well as some range you can use this when you have 2 enemy champions next to each other or a few minions that are low health and will die thus farming more gold.

I have really only used Q (Omen of War) when I am going in for a kill or ready to do some heavy damage to an enemy champion as it gives you a decent all around boost to your physical fighting capabilities.

Your ultimate is a great skill that can give an allied champion or yourself a second shot (or a continued ravage) of the enemy team. It is best to use it on an ally that can be most useful in a team fight (ex: ones that do the most damage and are getting focused) or those that have not yet utilized their skills.

As Yorick with not even a complete build you will be tanky enough to plow through the enemy team and focus whoever needs to be killed first, keep in mind your ultimate and be aware of anyone who is close to death and try to pop your ultimate on them.

If there are any stragglers I use flash for the most part to only chase enemy champions and combined with your W that has an AOE slowing effect it also helps with finishing off those who decide to run.

By mid-late game you will have no mana issues as you can sustain yourself through multiple spams of your abilities as well as getting life back from your E, I often do not have to return to base for mana or health in most situations.
