Why are you making a guide on another player?
How did you come across youngMINI?

To answer the first question, I am making a guide on yougMINI because he is a very high elo player and he is very unknown not many people know about him and hisskill and I think he should be noticed within the league of legends community.

Now to answer the second most asked question. I started following youngMINI as a player when he was a lower elo around 2100. I came across youngMINI on the "spectate live" on the league of legends client homepage, I watched his game and he completely stomped, he ended the game 11-1-6 KDA. I watched his game because I am also a player and I'm always looking to see how the "pros" play (runes build mastery's ect.)to improve my personal game. I then saw him again recently as rank 10 on solo q for NA this showed me one thing and one thing only, whatever he was doing... it was working. And because of this I would like to share with the league of legends community how to simply improve your game.

To answer the 3rd question, yes but unfortunately not very often remember to follow.

youngMINI IMHO is the best shaco player NA


At one point yougMINI was actually rank #10 on solo q ladder NA but with the resent release of Guild Wars 2 he hasn't been playing as much recently O.o

[title]Passive: Backstab[/title]
Shaco deals 25% bonus damage when striking a unit from behind.[/number]

[title]Explanation:[/title] This is a very strong passive you can walk behind jungle monsters and attack them dealing more damage, doing this several times to one jungle camp and ultimately save you from needing to auto attack an extra time. This is good because you can finish your starting buff quicker, which allows you to gank, counter jungle and/or start your 2nd buff giving you a faster level 3.

[title]Q: Deceive[/title]
Shaco instantly stealths for 4 seconds, and teleports to target nearby location. If he attacks while stealthed, the attack is guaranteed to crit for 40 / 60 / 80 / 100 / 120% bonus damage.

Cooldown 10seconds
Cost 90 / 80 / 70 / 60 / 50mana

[title]Explanation:[/title] This spell is the bread and butter ofthis ability is a reason you would never get while playing . This ability also apples your passive. With that said if you are behind your enemy when you land your first auto attack after casting deceive, it will deal 25% bonus damage.

[title]W: Jack In The Box[/title]
Shaco creates a Jack in the Box at the target location. It will Stealth after 2 seconds, and pop out when an enemy comes near, fearing nearby enemies for 0.5 / 0.75 / 1 / 1.25 / 1.5 seconds and attacking them.

It deals 35 / 55 / 75 / 95 / 115 (+25% of ability power) damage, and lasts 90 seconds while stealthed or 5 seconds while firing. Casting Jack In The Box does not break stealth.

[title]Explanation:[/title] This ability allows to you "set up" for a camp much like whatcan do with his saplings. This is why you get level one. I usually start the game by putting 2 at wraith camp (the first at 0:44) then put 2 more at red lizard, then killing the wraiths then placing another (total of 3) at the red lizard before it spawns giving you a very easy and fast red buff. This is why you dont need [imgsmall=items/cloth-armor.png] level one.

[title]E: Two-Shiv Poison[/title]
Passive: While Two-Shiv Poison is ready to cast: Shaco's attacks poison his target, reducing their movement speed and chance to hit by 20/22.5/25/27.5/30% for 2 seconds.

Active: Deals half weapon damage + 40/80/120/160/200 (+100% of ability power) Damage to target enemy, and poisons them for 3 seconds.

[title]Explanation:[/title] This is what makesganks so strong IMO. Not only does this spell do damage but it slows when is lands BUT IT ALSO APPLY A NATURAL SLOW, ON AUTO ATTACK AS LONG AS THE ABLILTY IS NOT ON COOL DOWN. You would be surprised by the fact that a large amount of players don't know this.

[title]R: Hallucinate[/title]
Shaco creates an illusion of himself nearby, which deals 75% of Shaco's damage and receives 150% increased damage. (Deals half damage to turrets.) On death, the illusion deals 300 / 450 / 600 (+100% of ability power) magic damage to nearby enemies.

Lasts up to 30 seconds.

Cooldown 105 / 90 / 75seconds
Cost 100mana

[title]Explanation:[/title] This is one of the BEST ultimate skill's for a jungler in the game IMO. This ability allows to to SOLO dragon as soon as you have purchased [imgsmall=items/wriggles-lantern.png] just purchase aclear enemy wards and be sure to move your clone to the other side of the dragon so that either yourself of the clone is getting your passive bonus (YES YOUR CLONE GETS YOUR PASSIVE BONUS)

Skill Order

[imgsmall=skills/shaco/r.png]: You obviously get your ultimate skill at levels 6,11,16

: You max your [imgsmall=skills/shaco/e.png] ability ASAP. This is becasue it will be you a good instant chunk of damage in ganks a very strong slow and it also gives you a slow on auto attack which is why you dont need to just throw your [imgsmall=skills/shaco/e.png] the second you walk into a lane for a gank

: You max your [imgsmall=skills/shaco/w.png] 2nd because of its fear duration. Yes the fear duration does in fact increase the more points you skill into it.

: Thats all thats left. With that being said you will need a point in this skill level 2 regardless because it is the bread and butter to [imgsmall=champ/shaco.png] ganks and counter jungling.

These runes will give a VERY offences and strong early game [imgext=]
becuase of these runes it is also the reason why you dont want to fight/ / / but that's just common knowledge ;P

But the junglers you do want to harass in there jungle are , , , haha

and are also very easy to kill in there jungle because there is a good chance they will be low HP when you find them.

IMO 6.84% attack speed is much better then +13 armor level 1. 13+ armor runes will not help [imgsmall=champ/shaco.png] at all, because your [imgsmall=skills/shaco/w.png] will be tanking all the early game damage from wraiths<red for you. There for 13+ armor is just a waste of yellow runes that could help you allot more during early game. That's why 6.84% attack speed is better it will help you get kill or two within the first 4 min of the game which allows you to buy a [imgsmall=items/cloth-armor.png] into [imgsmall=items/madreds-razors.png] much faster giving your the armor you will need in team fights throughout the latter stages of the game.

These mastery's will give you a good offensive start into the game but also the slight amount of defense needed to survive in the jungle at the early levels before purchasing[imgext=]
the reason this mastery page is not
much like most offensives junglers mastery pages would look like is because the main reason you would put points into them is for the +2% movement speed and the +20% buff during the other 4 points needed to reach, the 20% buff duration are useless. The 2% bonus movement speed lost from going 21-9-0 are made up in runes more specifically your 3 movement speed quints. giving you 4.5% bonus movement speed 2.5% more then what is given to you from the 21-0-9 set up . Now for the 20% buff duration this is not needed as much on [imgsmall=champ/shaco.png] as it is on other champions because if you time your and the enemy buffs correctly and you take them before for enemy can you will be able to have double buff majority of the time regardless.

Summoner Spells


: Your jungling so you obviously need this. But remember to use it LAST possible second leaving zero room your your enemy to steal your dragon, red, blue or baron.

: I think ghost is a much better summoner spell then [imgsmall=summoners/exhaust.png], [imgsmall=summoners/ignite.png] which in my opinion are the only other two viable options, but [imgsmall=summoners/ghost.png] is superior because you are able to from point A. to point B. faster. For example if your about to gank mid lane but you spot the enemy jungler ganking top you can get there and turn a 1v2 situation and surprise your enemy's and win the exchange.


: Ignite would be a desent pick vs maybe a [imgsmall=champ/soraka.png] or [imgsmall=champ/nidalee.png] but, if your teammates already have ignite then its just a waste of a summoner. The only time I think I would ever take [imgsmall=summoners/ignite.png] on [imgsmall=champ/shaco.png] is if the enemy teams mid lane was [imgsmall=champ/soraka.png] and your teams mid lane was [imgsmall=champ/karthus.png] with [imgsmall=summoners/exhaust.png].

: I think this isnt a very good summoner spell for [imgsmall=champ/shaco.png] by the time then enemy player has flashed your [imgsmall=summoners/exhaust.png] has already worn off. I do think this spell is VERY good latter game but if your striving for late game on [imgsmall=champ/shaco.png] don't play him

Item Build

You want to start [imgsmall=items/boots-of-speed.png] because you need the movement speed for ganks and to move around the map early game. Getting 3 [imgsmall=items/health-potion3.png] is the usual start for [imgsmall=champ/shaco.png] but besauce your starting red then ganking mid then counter jungling you will need the extra mana 99% of the time.

This core item build give you a very nice balance of attack damage, magic resit. and armor needed for early game 2v2/3v3 skirmishes in the early stages of the game ultimately wining you the game.

Building the items in order as listed will bring you a strong prescience in team fights without you blowing up to AOE skills. This core build gives you a good balance of great damage from [imgsmall=items/wriggles-lantern.png] , [imgsmall=items/hexdrinker.png] and [imgsmall=items/berserkers-greaves.png] while also giving you a good balance of magic resist. and armor also from [imgsmall=items/wriggles-lantern.png] and [imgsmall=items/hexdrinker.png].

: This item is the best item on [imgsmall=champ/shaco.png]. If you dont have a [imgsmall=items/guardian-angel.png] before 25 minutes your in big trouble when team fights start to occur more often throughout the game.

With all that said, it might look like not allot of damage is being built with the survivability you will get from this build will allow your and your clone to be in the fight longer dealing more damage.

: This item is very good on [imgsmall=champ/shaco.png] at any point in the game. This item allows you to assassinate and enemy very quickly with the activation of the item. This item also allow you and your clone to crit. which will drastically increase your damage more then many other items would. Another very great this about this item is the utility it bring you, it gives you a quick burst of speed allowing to chase enemy or simple burst one target down FAST from the bonus attack speed you get from it.

NOTE: The most auto attacks you land while the [imgsmall=items/youmuus-ghostblade.png] the longer the duration will be.

: If you are ahead of the enemy jungle at any point in the game buying one of these will just increase your map control so much more remember dont buy one of these during the team fighting stages of the game without a [imgsmall=items/guardian-angel.png] because there is a good chance you will lose it. It is a very good time to buy this item during the early stages of the game 5-15 min


: This item would be really good for you as a last item but very pricey and I don't think you would every be in a game that with ever last you long enough to buy this item. Keep in mind your [imgsmall=skills/shaco/r.png] will also apply 4% of your targets maximum health, giving you very strong baron control.

: This is my personal favorite for a 6th item allows you clear waves more quickly give's you move late game baron control. Also gives a great amount of movement speed so you can chase your enemy down allot better and give a great amount of crit and attack speed. The movement speed you get from this item will also allow you to back door much easier if your ever losing to the point team fighting wont help your team whatsoever.

: This item would also be good but again very expensive and also, IMO not a very good choice for latter game considering it wont help you very much with baron control more just help your with a little bit of burst,

: This item is honestly the best and more logical choise, considering it gives your everything you need on shaco. Gives you armor-pen, attack speed and attack damage. All there three components will help you win later game. Also keep in mind your [imgsmall=skills/shaco/r.png] clone aplys a stack of the armor penitration from [imgsmall=items/the-black-cleaver.png].

REMEMBER:>>Make sure to buy these into the late game when you have extra gold these are always helpful.

Early Game

Early game is probably the most important onthen any other champion excluding champions that are within tier . ;)

At the start of the game you want to buy your starting items ASAP. Then make your way to your wraith area then place your first [imgext=] at 0:44 then just place a second box in the same place, then make your way over to red buff and place 2 more here [imgext=] from here you want to run BACK over to the wraiths and kill them DONT NOT PLACE A 3rd here it is not needed. By the time your have killed the wraiths and made your way back over to the red buff your cool down should be finished. place your 3rd ontop of the other 2 and wait for the lizard to spawn. Be sure NOT TO as it is not needed at this point in time. The red lizard will most easily die without it!


After you have killed the lizard buff you will most obviously be level 2 try to make sure your teammates don't take exp. from either the wraith or red buff camp. From here you want to gank middle. Keep in mind this gank is not to get a kill. (in some cases you might if their mid lanner under estimates your damage.) This gank is soul purpose it to get them to use . Thats it not even worth wasting the mana on . You only need to with red buff to deal enough damage to make them **** the bed and . From here you can easily counter jungle because the enemy jungle will either just be finishing wraiths and starting red which giving you a very easy opportunity to either kill them or simply steal the buff seeing as your is still up. Your other option is to just take your blue buff. Place a behind the ancient golem allowing your to tank the damage then simply attack it from behind and it when its at the appropriate HP leaving 0 opportunity for the enemy jungler to to steal the buff. After you have your blue buff this gives you a VERY good opportunity to gank middle lane considering they no longer have . The only time you wouldn't want to counter jungle is if there jungle has started red OR will beat you in a 1v1 situation at level 2 with them having blue and you having red. Keep in mind red buff does gives you an extra TRUE damage DOT that slows the enemy. A good example of champions you would not want to fight 1v1 with them having blue and you having red is don't fight these guys in their jungle they will most defiantly beat you in a one vs one situation.

After the first 4 minutes have gone by at this point you should have hopefully got a kill or two with double buff. At this point you should be mostly be running back and forth between top and mid walking into their enemy jungle to see what and where the jungler is/doing. I usually spend most of my time ganking top/mid and taking either my or the enemy wraith camp. I only go and kill the wraith camp if their jungler has backed and mid/top isn't gankable. I focus on the wraith camp and not the other camps, such as mini golems and wolves, because first of all mini golems IMHO is 100% useless. Wolves give a descent amount of gold but wraith give the most exp. and if your ganking top/mid/counter jungling constantly then you shouldn't have a gold problem.

Middle Game

Mid game is made up of a few things


1. Map control is very impotent onbecause being able to see where the enemy jungle is will not only prevent your teammates lanes from getting ganked it will also allow you to set up for a counter gank which also means it will prevent you from being counter ganked if your wards are placed in the right spots. The red dots represent good warding spots (wards enemy jungle)
The yellow dots represent good places where your can be placed making harder for the enemy jungler to gank if you and your teammates can see them coming. To help you with map control if you are ahead of the enemy jungle ALWAYS buy to clear out your enemy wards making there life a living hell.

2. Mid game for is very important because if you haven't snowballed yet ganking will become A LOT harder making your main focus from then on out is so just setting the enemy jungle as far back as you can. You can simple do this by leaving 1 small wraith at his camp.

3. Buff timers first of all you should have time stamps enabled so it very easy to keep track. If you don't simple open your options menu then select "more options" then just check in the box. Just resently League of Legends just made it so if you have vision of dragon/baron when they are killed by your or the enemy team you will see posted in the chat logs. With time stamps enabled it will be very easy to see when the next dragon/baron will be spawning. Blue/Red buff keep track of these buff's once killed will allow you to set 1-2 for the next time it spawns alowing you to take it much faster and also be for the enemy teams jungler can react to the fact that there buff just re-spawned. An easy way yo keep track of these buff is to simple type in chat with time stamps enabled ex. "enemy blue" your don't need to list the time because with time stamps already enabled the time is posted for you.

4. Dragon for dragon is very easy to control just simply make sure its warded at all times and when your reach level 6 with and it will be very easy for you to solo dragon. Be sure yo buy a to clear enemy / .

NOTE: wouldnt recomend trying this if your bottom lane is losing very badly odds are the enemy team will re-spawned very fast to the fact there there / has vanished.

Late Game

Late game and team fighting are the same thing because asyou want to keep laneing phase going as long as you can so you can keep ganking earning gold and getting your team farther ahead. Now in a perfect world team fighing will start as soon as you finish your because you can go into the enemy team balls to the walls and not worry about getting blown up by AOE skills and what not. But this is why the CORE items are so good they give you a great combination of magic resistance from and armor from also a combination of both giving you a 2nd life from .

People say you MUST get on to deal damage but in todays meta game you cant build a glass cannon melee champion you will die from AOE skills faster and do less damage then a with this build. Without armor, magic resistance and a team fighting as will be a total waste of time and make you useless.

Ganking onmight seem easy but gank RIGHT is what separates a good player from a alright player.


Because your enemys can see a orange puff of smoke when you [imgext=]

Yes your enemy can see this.

Keep in mind you have 4 sec to get to your enemy before they break stealth meaning you can and then you have 4 sec to get behind your target to land your crit and 20% damage increase on your passive bonus.

Also if you then walk behind your enemy then immediately place a then attack your enemy even though you have un-stealthed from place your you will still crit regardless.

Back Dooring

Backdooring is considered among many as cheese or unfair way to win IMO the only unfair way to win is a 4v5 honestly a wins a win regardless of the circumstances.

Backdooring, this is a tatic that just requires you to over extend pushing a lane as hard as you can attempting to take a easy tower or two and try to relieve pressure off your teammates on the rest of the map.

Why this is so easy acomplished and so good on? Well because of this makes it very hard to "punish" you from backdooring or in other words try to make you stop doing it. Another reason backdooring as is so good, is because he can 1v1 almost any champ as long as the fight is played right.


Your goal while backdooring will always be one of three things.

ONE: Push out one of there lanes to a point in which then need to send one of there champions to stop you. If the person they send is too weak then you simple try to kill them. But if the person they sent has more significance in team fights then you do, then try to keep them there as long as possible.

TWO: Push so far out the hole enemy team recalls to try to stop you

THREE: Take all there towers, countless times I have backdoored the hole enemy teams nexus because the enemy team had just taken baron and was so keen on trying to win and not stop me from pushing
