Morgana is the hardest lane imo. neither your e or q work as reliable engage even if you land your abilites and if you ever try to go in and you get rooted you just die.
if you can't fish for a trade/kill with e and just disengage if you miss zac feels way worse to play.

zac is really good at winning and snowballing lanes but you also scale well and you can always win teamfights regardless of how much gold or farm you have if you execute well so overforcing on lane isn't necessary and being countered doesn't mean you are out of options.
the laning plan most of the time is to get a short trade by hitting q1 on enemy then q2 on minion and getting an auto or two if you are lvl 1 or combo it with e after level 2+ then the next time, if you hit e or q you win the all in. if you avoid unecessary damage and you hit your spells you can win almost any lane
starting from level 4 unless you need to stay close to your adc, you almost always wanna fog. Zac as a champion is simply better whenever he isn't showing.
flash q is the most reliable way to use flash in lane and if you can trade sums with the adc it's ideal.
if you are low hp in lane, if you can make the enemy proc your passive under your own tower it's worth it to heal up.
level 6 you are one of the strongest champs in the game in any fight with 2 or more champs because of your cc + dmg + heals. (arguable the strongest)
starting from lvl 3, if you have your spells up you beat almost every adc or sup in a 1v1 from even hp so if you your adc dies and you get a kill, most of the time you can just fight whoever is left alive and win.
You are strong on level 1 and 2 but spike on 3. after that your biggest spikes are level 6, 7, 9 and 11
your blobs spawn between you and (close) visible enemies so if you are under your own tower or playing far back, don't try to heal with your w untill the enemies have to back off.
if you have passive and dive tower then die, as long as you get far enough away that 1 of your blobs stays out of turret range you will survive. The tower targets champs that are actively attacking enemy heroes but otherwise will just focus your blobs.
you can sometimes pretend like you are using q1 to heal from minions then flash and q2 an enemy champ. q2 gives you a longer autoattack range which can surprise enemies and as long as your animation starts, not even flash will stop it.
rocketbelt is good vs mobile champs, randuins is good vs champs that are too mobile and verdant counters stuff like janna, thresh, poppy which traditionally shut down your engage.
I don't like building support items on zac so i don't really have comments on those but other than that:
*ice gauntlet is best for full tank build imo, if you go hybrid you arent tanky enough to get value out of it and I think it's just better than sunfire.
*sunfire is fine but I think randuins/frozen heart/ice gauntlet is just better. I think bami's is fine to buy if you want.
*dark seal is almost as good as in jungle and if you have 400g on your first base it gives you jack of all trades which a ruby crystal won't
*I think heartsteel might be really good if you are into a mixed dmg lane
*imo force of nature is better than spirit visage if you are worried about getting bursted. spirit visage is only good if you are strong enough to stay alive, otherwise force or abyssal mask is better.
