So which champions are good options for buying Warmog's and are there any champions where you would count it as a core item?

Check out my extensive Sivir Guide

It's not exactly on the same topic but you might find something useful in there, and I'd appreciate it if further conversation was continued in that thread so we don't have duplicate threads.

Not gonna lock this though cause the conversations are slightly different.

Some good champions are tankers, offtankers and tanky-dps. But not all of them.

But if you want a tip, I recommend you this:

#1: Get armor and MR runes.
#2: Your first item must be Warmogs.

Why? Because your runes will give you a good defense and you cant wait until the enemy gets strong. Get HP and rock ***es with FoN's regen after.

Warmogs becomes strong AFTER you have mitigation. Warmogs with no mitigation is not as good. Here are a couple of links that look into it farther.

I have discussed Warmogs in both of my guides. There is a lot of misconceptions on it and a lot of false hysteria. I especially like the "If you get Warmogs they will just get Madred's Bloodrazor and WTFown you!" Wherein actuality it would still take longer to kill you. And MR helps negate MBR. Heroes with shields it is less useful because pure HP do not help shields whereas mitigation does affect shields. Heroes with naturally high mitigation it is great on. And if you like Atma's Impaler it is very nice.

Overall it is situational to the game and hero.

All guides have been archived due to my not being able to play LoL currently. The information is still there and is good but until I return they will be archived. I am able to keep them updated and current though.
