I would suggest lowering your champion pool a bit to be honest
while it's good to be decent at a lot of champions/roles, it's better to be good at a couple. Having a large champion pool makes it hard to really excell at something which in turn only makes it more difficult to carry certain games.
It's up to you of course. If you prefer having a large champion pool then by all means go for it, though you might see more success in climbing if you just limit yourself to, I don't know, maybe 5 good all around champions

Yeah, you're right. With the changes in preseason, my roster has undergone a fair few changes, which have helped me limit my champion pool a bit more. I'll update when I've finalised my roster and stopped experimenting.
Played a ranked today. Not really worth posting up, since one of the enemy team DCed and I forgot to take the screenshot. It was pretty much split-push to win.
However, of interesting note are the people I now get matched up with.
Brand was Gold V, Shyvana was Gold III and Jinx was Gold I.
LeBlanc was Plat V, Sivir was Gold V and Gangplank was Gold III.
Holy ****, my MMR is higher than I thought it was.
Followed by a game with 9K pings and lags... couldn't screenshot that either, because end lobby never showed up. Nothing special anyway, just feeding a whole lot as Lux because Mordekaiser could walk up to me under tower, all in me, walk away with my ghost before I even knew he was there.

Still testing to see meta changes in the game. I didn't want to jungle, because I recently wasn't having any success in it, neither in normals nor ranked. That said, I picked
Sivir into Jinx, thinking it would be a good matchup. At least, that was the idea until she got 2 early kills. I was ahead of her in CS, but the 2 kills made her way over me. So I got an Avarice Blade to help even things out a bit and just froze lane. The game really kicked off after I got my Bloodthirster and our teamfights came together, despite the extremely shoddy start. Lee Sin was very good at going for objectives and, having played jungle until this match, I was very conscious of objectives as well, leading to several unchallenged towers, dragons and enemy blue buffs.Nothing much to say, our teamfight really kicked things into gear and we wrecked them. At first, I was a bit annoyed that
Leona went for Ancient Coin start, but in hindsight, given that Alistar is pretty strong against her and that the talisman of ascension proved to be extremely useful in engaging and disengaging, I'll let it slide this time.
