1. Just play and have fun. Seriously, don't worry about winning or losing as the game isn't about that. Low level games are filled with people who have way more experience than you and as you gain experience playing against them, you will also improve yourself.
2. For Nami and Soraka only: Spellthief's Edge and 3 standard health potions. You can get a mana potion as well once you unlock the Wealth mastery.
3. For the two supports mentioned, I'd recommend either this or this mastery page. As you don't have all mastery pages yet, start by filling the utility tree (green) perks first.
4. skillshots (skills that you have to aim manually) are the main factor contributing to how difficult some champions are perceived (of course, exceptions apply). For example, Nami is percieved as a hard champion due to how hard her Aqua Prison is to hit. Soraka is relatively easy because her spells are rather straightforward.
5. If you feel completely lost in what to build, check out my Nami guide (you can find it on my profile). As the build paths for Soraka and Nami are nearly identical you can just copy those around. For more specific questions you can also hop on my Support AMA and advice thread where I help everyone out.
