gotten through the sixth episode of anime...guess I will have to read manga to continue story. pretty intense...lot of stuff in the air. good foreshadowing and story telling. I like it though I have to admit it is a little extreme even for me who enjoyed that so many characters were wiped out in the anime I enjoy. will let you know when I get farther and can make some conclusions..but to much in the air right now and not knowing their origin and source of sustenance makes it difficult to draw up any theories. I can say that the one telling thing they have said is that they release enormous amounts of heat...but given their size this isn't all that surprising...takes a lot of chemical breakdown to run machinery that big...again meaning that their source of energy is still a mystery as humans alone couldn't provide it....good find though all around. +rep

The next "reveal" is that they're incredibly light for their size, but that's not until maybe EP15 in the anime or so.

EP7 was pretty good. Some parts were good and some were meh. (that's all I wanna say really :3)

I finally found out what I'll be watching next: One Outs !

In fact, I've already started watching it. I'm at episode 10 and so far so good ! I really enjoy watching this anime so far. The theme of mind games and outplays fascinates me. Will update when I finish watching it.

So I'm currently watching Kyojin and the concept of the 3DMG is intriguing.
How possible is this in real life?

I'm currently waiting for Beelzebub, Fairy Tail, High School of the Dead, Attack On Titan, and Zombie Powder to update. Oh wait, scratch the last part. I don't think they'll update the manga for Zombie Powder.

It probably is possible. But it would also be incredibly dangerous. Using them would be magnitudes worse than any kind of skateboard, inlines, motocross or ATV.
Mis-time one "latching-shot" and you'd be at risk for falling to your death. Not to mention that it's gotta be hard to aim them even..
"Blizzard spoke thus; Thou shalt not BM. And the players replied Nay, I shall Play my hand with Lethal already on the board. And so Blizzard sent unto them this Brawl of Yogg, As a lesson for their sins of Pride and Greed, for he is the Prophet of Madness and RNG. On that day, the tavern descended into an era of chaos and darkness, until the weekend passed and everyone forgot all about it. Amen. Book of SMOrc, Verse 20, Chapter 4." - Feam T

Theres also the need to ensure that the hooks being shot are hitting a building at a shorter distance away from you then how high you are above the ground. This can be made up for by having the line go back in as you swing, but that would risk it pulling out of whatever it latched on to.

And with that, you can expect someone dead a few weeks after this anime ends.

EP8 of Shingeki No Kyojin was kinda meh. The animation was quite lacking in places and some of the more subtle hints in the manga are made a lot more obvious in the anime. There's this one guy that's almost literally screaming "I'M GONNA DIE LATER".

The next episode is where it's gonna get interesting again with lots of distrust and political intrigue.
