Are you saying Battleship was better than Avengers?

If so U R INSanEZ

Probably not, but the way he said it is phrased wrong in that case.

Battleship looks kind of....meh to me. It's like the exact same thing as Transformers except the robots don't look as flashy.

Avengers was pretty good though! I was a little tipsy cause I was at a birthday party before (and the theater had a full bar =O) and I was texting friends in China, so I was confused at the beginning lol. But I enjoyed it altogether. 9/10.

I recently saw Meet Joe Black, it was pretty interesting and kind of funny. It did get really sappy though. 8/10.

I never really watched previews or anything on The Hunger Games. What's it about? lol

If you felt I contributed and stuff, can I have a (+1 Rep =3)?

The Avengers movie was pretty predictable story wise but it was pretty funny and it was great!

tbh what super hero movie isn't predictable?

avengers was also the last movie i saw, solid 9/10. action scenes were very cool and unique and the casting was pretty perfect. dude who played loki made a great villain, RDJ boss as always, and scarlett johansson is such a babe <3

next movie i want to see is the dictator, looks pretty funny

Thanks to Xiaowiriamu for the sig!

Discuss movies you've watched recently and recommend any you really liked.

I just saw The Woman in Black. It was k. Had a few really good scare scenes, but also a few cliche-ish. Oh, and IT'S FREAKING HARRY POTTER IN THE LEAD ROLE. I'd rate it at about 7/10.

I recently saw In Bruges. It was freaking awesome. Brilliant humor and writing. Sad, yet really funny. There aren't many movies like this. GO WATCH IT, 9/10

I also saw Rockn'Rolla. I started watching it with no expectations what-so-ever and came out very satisfied and surprised. It's easily one of the best gangster movies I've seen. The plot twists are very interesting and the writing is overall very good. The movie reminded me a lot of Snatch and afterwards I see why; they're both Guy Ritchie movies, lol. A strong 8/10.
If you liked these, watch Pulp fiction and Revolver. Latter one will blow your brains.

I recently saw Chronicle. I liked it. It contained a lot of interesting ideas and never really got cliche-y. A breath of fresh air to someone who has watched a lot of movies. About 7.5/10, I think.

I just saw Cinderella Man, 50-50 and What Happens in Vegas.

Cinderella Man was good. I'd rate it at about 7.5/10.

50-50 was pretty decent. I liked the serious parts of the movie, but not the ones with Seth Rogen trying to be funny. I mean; sure, he's a lovable character, BUT HE'S NOT FREAKING FUNNY. Many movies with him often have this annoying forced atmosphere where it feels like the makers of the movie WANT you to laugh, but it's just not funny.. Roughly 7/10 I think.

What Happens in Vegas is pretty much your standard romantic comedy. But it's not bad, like I expected it to be. It doesn't get overly cliche-y (even though there obviously are cliches). And I really liked the second story twist. A weak 7/10 overall.

Everyone has seen pulp fiction.
It's overrated :P
Good, but overrated.
The dialogue is interesting but surreal (in a bad way).
The characters are shallow and just seem like a tool to convey the dialogue.
The story is interesting but lacks a red thread at times.
I'd prolly rate it as a weak 8/10, but it's been a while since I saw it.

I think I might've seen Revolver, but I'm unsure. I might take a look at it some time.

^I think Chronicle was good visually, but the story didn't really work for me....It was kind of too predictable I guess. Could just be me though lol. Still, it'd be pretty bomb-*** to play foot ball like that!

Lucky Number Slevin was another really good one that I saw! I think that's one of my favorites actually. I recommend it to....EVERYONE! =D

Chronicle wasn't that good visually. Not bad by any means, but nothing special. It's the story and special way of filming that interested me.
