On the topic with Google+, it's actually not a bad service. It's just how Google tried to cram it down our throats, such as having to have a Google+ account to comment on YouTube, that gave it its sour reputation.
Imma 'bout to end this man's whole career My rather unimpressive and slowly growing anime list! Currently watching:

Yeah, pretty much. It's the best social network on the market right now.
I made an objective analysis of the current networks about a year ago and G+ was a clear winner. So I started an account, despite the fact that none of my Facebook friends followed me there ;(
There's a ton of functionality on G+ that no other site has, not to mention the great design language used on the site.
I also would like to say that people being sour over Google+ is kind of stupid. The update added a ton of great functionality to Youtube and did what many consider impossible: it turned the Youtube comment section into less of a cesspool of **** and stupidity. Do people not remember the abomination that was the Youtube comment section before the update? The first few months when people were really sour about the change were the best, because most of the stupid people were too sour to bother commenting, so there were plenty of great discussions. I know, right? Good discussions on Youtube, what am I smoking? But this has sadly worn off as people got used to it and now it's a cesspool again, just a little smaller this time around.
Sittin' on chimneys, putting fire up my ***.

Yeah, shortly after that, when people started to tire of spamming and/or the channel banned Bob from the comment section (poor Bob). The update added a whole bunch of useful tools for managing a channel's comment section, so if channel owners want to they could filter out a lot of spam and unwanted content from there.

Only problem for me is that no one is actually willing to use Google +. I don't think facebook has got any value to people in my age anymore except for liking posts and writing a friend's name in the comments of a stupid video. Chatting via facebook is just a thing for people that don't use services like WhatsApp (facebook indeed :p). You can say that most of the people have created a facebook account back then and therefore you can reach anyone via facebook and most but not all of the people via other services, too. I don't think I would start using Google + actively because the whole idea of a social network has become unimportant in most aspects at least for me and many people as well I expect. Trying to start getting used to its "system" would be an effort of time that should have been happened years ago as social networks were kinda new.

Thanks to Ubnoxius for this sig!
If Google acts like it's Santa Claus you better watch out. Even in December.
There aren't any angels running those servers powered on moonlight glow people.
But I agree, Facebook sucks. I hardly do any social networking outside of forums anyway so I wouldn't be able to talk about G+, other than that they're probably either making or going to make tons of money with it.

You need to log in before commenting.
This is kind of crazy.
I already use Facebook a few times a month at most and it's only bound to decrease.
This is in stark contrast to Google+, which does not have ads of any kind and the devs behind it have gone on record saying something along the lines of "We cannot figure out a reasonable way of monetizing the site since people primarily come here to communicate with friends and family, so we won't". I hope they stick to that.
