Biography

A researcher would suggest reviewers for a term paper because s/he knows people in his/her field who are familiar with that sort of work. If I'm working on a specific type of catalytic cracking, I'd be going to catalytic conferences, working in groups with other catalytic experts, reading The Journal of Catalysis, and so on, and I would know a number of people who are capable of (1) understanding my work, and (2) judging its accuracy/usefulness.
