winnable pre 6, after 6 she just stomps you with her high mobility and dmg if you are not careful enough. If she cant kill you in lane be sure she will get some kills in other lanes
Akshan
Spiderman is really annoying to lane against, bad akshans will int mid if you learn how to freeze and call your jungler (hopefully with good cc) for help. Respect his burst and swing all in potential. Ping whenever he is missing.
Cassiopeia
Hopefully you have good jungler or dodge the game, Lane is unplayable if she hit her MS ability and she runs you down
Katarina
Easy matchup till lvl 3, after that you have to respect her all in burst dmg.
Dagger will always fall behind you so run to the side then the way you want to flee,
Freeze and hope she dont get fed in inting botlane
hopefully your team have more point and click cc
Hwei
so far he is annoying like xerath but far worse, he have all abilities to be safe and kill you. Jungler is needed if hwei is decent
LeBlanc
Respect her dmg, focus on farming from distance and never go for trades unless she waste her dash to hit cs. lvl 6 she get to use those abilites 1 more time
Ahri
Matchup is even because ahris need to stand still to cast Q so you have small window to throw E W combo. She outlanes you but you are more useful to the team if she dont get ahead. Rylais will cook her in team fight if she gets caught and she will have to R out
Anivia
Good anivia is Extreme but you can abuse her early if you hit your E+W combo and all in her after you proc her passive pre 6
Annie
No threat in lane unless you misposition post 6.
She is more of a threat for your carries and people who face check bushes
Aurelion Sol
Until he scales enough to cook your team, you are better champ in lane.
save E for his flying ability when he tries to run away. You have small window to catch him coz it has some sort of prep time
Azir
Focus on farming and scaling. Swain is better champ in teamfights but shurima shuffle will be big punishment for your team more than you.
Ekko
If you let him E Q you you will lose but if you fight him when these abilities are on cooldown you will beat him pre 6 hard. Post 6 he is annoying to deal with but ryalais will help your team to lock him down faster
Diana
Focus on farming and not letting her dash on top of you because she have insane burst. You will have easier time after you finish some MR and rylaies but she is threat to your team with stormsurge.
Fizz
Fizz is useless early if you learn how to freeze lane against him... to do that just let him hit first wave 2-3 times and from there you just thin the wave until it reaches comfortable place under your turret. He have insane dmg and you cant really lock him down easily so jg needs to gank while lane is frozen and zone him from cs and xp.
he is threat to everyone in every part of the game unless your team stack some MR and zhonyas xd
If u freeze he have window to roam, he will lose XP but get shutdowns or free kills
Galio
Respect his poke with Q and dont over extend he can make good gank setups for his jungler.
TP flash into this lane worked best for me coz I can follow his R before him but you need good map awareness to know where he is going to R.
Gragas
Good Bomba and you are dead.
Poke but never overextend if he is in jungle expect gank where he flash to cc you for his laner
Jayce
Jayce is not a threat pre item,
trading with him is easy as long as you can side step his shots from fog of war, after item you need to respect his all in dmg and not stand so close to him if he is half hp and you catch him with E instant R W E pull and after he knock flash after him and recast R for slow and you can kill if he doesnt have flash
Irelia
Freeze and poke her with Qs from a side of the wave so you dont unfreeze it. She can outplay you very hard early until you get 2 to 3 items, she is less useful in teamfights than you if you can peel your carry she wants to kill. Good E and she is dead
Never push when your wave is coming, let it crash into enemy waave then use Q W to push it fast and crash it under her turret
Cho'Gath
If he goes tank, jungler will be needed to kill him.
If he goes AP if you cant dodge his Qs he is EXTREME.
You cant kill him he cant kill you unless someone misplay and jungler is there to clean up
Karma
2 games against Karma so far.
1 W 1 L
Stay opposite of her behind your minions.
she have great push and you need Jungler to lock and burst her.
Her utility and dmg is more useful to the team unless she is killed first
Kassadin
Freeze and he wont be able to farm properly, call jg to punish him early, Late game if there is no hard cc he will solo carry anyways . End game asap.
Karthus
They will perma push and int so far as i know. Play safe and he will be ganked many times. his R is only threat because he can get free kills without leaving lane
Heimerdinger
Cant kill him but you can call your jungler and support:
set up gank by killing most of his turrets before engage
Lissandra
Positioning is very important but her champ deal more dmg in every part of the game. Focus on good teamfigting and dont let her roam to objectives.
Just hard push when you want to leave lane
Malzahar
He is extreme threat to your turret than you, whenever i try to roam i come back with 3 plates gone.
you are better teamfighter champ than him and you can cancel his R with your E if he ults someone else.
use Q when he spawn his voidbugs
Lux
Very annoying blondie. Focus on pushing her away and being on her max range.
If she misplay she wont be punished hard unless jg can deal huge dmg or cc her longer
Her R is on lower cd so respect her
Neeko
Outranges you and out damages you.
If she misplay she is dead. Look to predict her cast coz you will have to dodge it and hopefully hit E. Use E explosion to hit and catch her if she hides in minions
COUNT EVERY WAVE!
Tristana
Respect her lvl 2+
otherwise she cant do much to you if she cant jump on you.
Naafiri
you cant overstep or she will run you down, controlling wave and aery poke will give you opportunity to all in her but dodge her Qs or you will lose a lot of hp.
After her first item she is really hard to kill
Orianna
Big range, hard poke.
Cant punish her easy unless she is bad and can be hit with every E and she outscales and deal insane dmg in teamfight
Sylas
Freezee and he cant engage under your turret, he deals insane dmg if he gets on top of you and your R is very good for him.
Pray he doesnt get free kills in other lanes but you outscale him if the game goes long enough
So far aery and freeze worked for me to control his all ins
Dont get baited if he is low, never chase him unless you are 60% hp and someone from your team is there with also 60% hp
Ryze
His wave potential is better and his R allows him to roam or escape if he needs.
Can deal insane DMG.
Need Update 2 games only
Syndra
IF you cant side step her Qs and CC combo you are doomed.
Dont give her free kills and you are better champ in team fight than her.
Catch her in river as often as you can coz collapsing on her if she miss E is very easy
Talon
Dont give him free poke(fight him on cds) and free kills and its easy lane.
Ping when he is missing
Twisted Fate
Even laning, you can be better champ but his R roaming potential is bigger
TP/Flash or TP/Ghost
Need update, 3 games only
Zoe
Stay behind minions and after 6 u can all in her if she misplay. get some MR and dont go near walls if you cant see her
Zed
Focus on farming, dont give him free poke on you coz he can all in you any time and wont be punished for it.
If you dont die or he dont get free kills after ryalies and zhonya he wont be big threat for you
Yone
Compared to yasuo this abomination can run you down from his turret to yours and E back to his soul.
Freeze and poke him till you can all in
Oblivion orb and frozen hear rush can save you some time until you and your team scales enough.
After bork he can win 1v1 fight even when behind
Freezing is my go to path to beat him and all in him when he misplay his E
Yasuo
Dont push, freeze and he can only eat Qs even if he windwall them.
save E after windwall.
Dodge his tornados and you win
Rylaies and oblivion cook him
Veigar
Extreme only coz he scales to 1 shot everyone. But he is even matchup
Vel'Koz
His poke and his abilities wont let you kill him, his R deals true dmg after he stack his passive on you so you are zapped by his R to death unless you hit E to cancel it
Ghost flash if you are confidante
Flash tp if you are not.
Vex
Skill matchup, she is better at killing your botlane than you so respect her roams E W until you can all in her.
If you hit E cast R asap and run her down
Xerath
Sidestepping his abilities is a must or this lane is a nightmare.
If he gets hit by E post 6 you can all in him just to push him away from lane
Rumble
1 game. Need update.
So far he beats us after lvl 2 and we cant do much except farming and hiding behind minions
Nautilus
Good cc and hooks are swains best friends.
Senna
If you are only tanky champ and no good utility in team it will be hard to win

Greetings, fellow summoners! I am MukiiBA, a dedicated League of Legends player. As an enthusiast of strategic gameplay and champion mastery, I'm thrilled to share my knowledge and experiences with you.
Currently, I hold the rank of Diamond IV, constantly striving to climb the ladder and reach new heights. Among my achievements, I take pride in my prowess with the enigmatic champion, Swain. With dedication and practice, I have achieved the impressive rank of 150th globally on Swain and I peeked ranked 20th on the EUNE server.
In this guide, I aim to provide you with comprehensive insights, strategies, and tips to maximize your potential with Swain. Whether you're a seasoned Swain player looking to refine your skills or a curious summoner seeking to explore the ravens' magic for the first time, this guide is tailored to help you succeed.
Why Swain
In the ever-shifting landscape of League of Legends, champions rise and fall in popularity, strength, and relevance. Among them stands Swain, the Noxian Grand General, a character whose allure and strategic depth have persisted through the years. As we delve into the year 2024, the question arises: why would and should one play Swain in the current state of the game?
Firstly, Swain's versatility remains a key factor in his enduring appeal. Whether in the mid lane, top lane, support or even occasionally as an APC, Swain's kit offers a blend of crowd control, sustain, and burst damage that can adapt to various team compositions and playstyles. His ability to flex between roles makes him a valuable asset in both solo queue and flex environments, allowing players to explore different strategies and adapt to changing metas.
Swain's teamfighting prowess sets him apart as a formidable force on the battlefield. His ultimate ability, Demonic Ascension not only grants him significant survivability and damage but also provides valuable vision and crowd control during chaotic teamfights. Skilled Swain players can turn the tide of battle with well-timed engages and strategic positioning, making him a valuable asset in coordinated team play.
