After stormsurge got nerfed i stopped using the item for my build. But i find it harder to oneshot enemies after i stop buying it or even deal significant damage towards enemies. Should i replace it with something else or start using it again?

Hi! I still use stormsurge from time to time. Usually when the enemies have no tanks or only 1 tank. Stormsurge is a situational item because of its passive. If Evelynn dealt enough damage but somehow the enemy manages to escape thats when squall (the passive) finishes the job. It will strike the enemy and usually if they are super low on health (5% of their health) they die. But stormraider (another passive) grants you extra movement speed when you deal 35% of the enemy's max health so most of the time you can catch up to them if they are not executed. I would say stormsurge is somewhat still a good items for some games.

Why don't you have zhongya in your build? Isn't it very useful? Like it will help you survive longer compared to banshee.

Hello! The reason why i dont have zhonya in my build is because when playing Evelynn, you would want to do everything in 5 seconds. Meaning you sneak up to enemies and one shot them and disappear. Evelynn is not suppose to stay in fights as she is squishy. If you use zhonya to protect yourself for example a briar's ult or karthus ult while you are low, then its useful but 95% of the time its actually useless. Unlike other junglers like hecarim, udyr, vi, jax, jarvan or those who can sustain more in team fights, like i said Evelynn is too squishy so she can't. If you really want to stay in the fight all you have to do is at least get a kill or deal damage and if damaged just back off and regenerate with your passive when in demon shade and go back into the fight. In conclusion, zhonya is not recommended.

Hey, i want to ask you if the sorcerer's shoes are actually necessary. I have played many games without the boots and went straight to building lich bane as my first item and mejai as my second. Most of the time it works. It also saved me 1 more item slot for my 6th item s i save gold and time.

Hi! The sorcerer's shoes is very good early game. With it being the first item to build, you can roam faster between lanes and in the mid-game, with the extra movement speed when hitting level 6 Evelynn's passive, Demon shade and when casting her E ability during combat, thats how when encountering an Evelynn player, you can see her almost appearing in all lanes in just less than a minute. You can replace sorcerer's shoes during the late/end game phase to get the maximum damage. Thats why i have many situational items listed.

Hey, just wanted to ask, is really building the torch even good? idk DoT item on assasin dont seem very good,i havent tried it im just asking cuz yk

Hi! Its a bad item for Evelynn IMO as its only good when you are in combat. Its not something you can stack like veigar or something. In fact stormsurge still seems better than the torch. I have experimented it in game and i couldnt deal enough damage to one shot enemies. So in conclusion, not recommended at the moment.

Yes. That is the standard build for Evelynn. But for rocketbelt, i did not put it in my item build as it gives less damage and Evelynn's E already has dash. But if you are ahead of the enemy jungler or the enemy team, if they have more movement speed or dash abilities, i guess rocketbelt is a good item to secure the kill. I may add rocketbelt into the item build in the future.

That is true, well im honestly considering quitting playing evelynn, shes just **** rn, riot is full of brainrot virgins like our little riot phreak that nerfs everything that he loses against and evelynn is trash rn, + i wanna play ranked but its unplayable when i get 4 polish pigs that lose lane every game and enemy team is winning all games they play, i honestly be considering to just get boosted out of this elo and then start playing the game myself

I agree. With the nerfs, i cant tell if she is even playable for high elo. But i observe that high elo players do still ban her but seldom now. I actually though the new AP item will help Evelynn but after trying it out in game, i actually question what they are doing. And i also have the same problem as you. Its always team diff. I went 16 kills with 2 deaths, but the my ADC fed the enemy ADC so a potential win became a loss. I am thinking of learning other champions when i reach higher elo.

fr exactly, me too, wim coming back to playing my lil star dragon, he is finally good, just has too much hard matchups, i just play for lategame, aurelio sol is a monster once we get to lategame, but i dont play the meta build, i like to go for high hp build, not fully tank but i build roa n stuff yk, its actually good but still cant carry games sadly

I'm still not that great with asol like the moving while spitting fire and stuff haha but i hate when late game he just ults and my whole team dies lol.

I know the struggle, asol is a monster in lategame, btw, i might still play evelynn, found out that oportunity is suprisingly good on eve even if its lethality item, dont ask me why i built it, i wanted to troll a ranked after i got flamed by some1 for picking aurelion sol XD, currently just going blackfire torch into lichbane into dcap into voidstaff into oportunity then rocketbelt, banshee or anything that is built on eve, depends on enemy team, it just works for some reason XD, the lethality is good if u aa between combo and the ms u gain from it is also good for escaping if u need ur passive, i just wanted to troll tho

HAHAHAHA but did you win though? And does blackfire torch actually work? I mean you can't stack and only during combat it deals extra damage. But i assume u farm jungle camps faster since it was your first item. That is one weird game i can't comprehend like buying opportunity HAHAHA. But ultimately, were you still able to oneshot enemies?

Hi, I wanted to ask you about building Malignance on Evelynn. I don’t think it’s a good item on her. Evelynn’s ult is an execute, it’s not an ult you use to be followed up with your other spells. The ultimate ability haste is good, but you don’t really need the magic resist shred when it’s an execute.

Hi! Malignance is a just a situational item. Why? Incase u took out their ADC and the rest of the enemies are melee champions thats when malignance is useful. Area damage. But good point!

I like your guide, would be nice if you explained how to play agaisn't hard matchups like Rengar :)

Hello! I will not suggest fighting against Rengar solo ever. Or near any bushes. Best place to fight Rengar is at the river or mid lane only. For Briar, if you are behind gold/CS/level there really is very low chance of winning as Briar is too broken even with 1 item i could not kill her solo even being 2-3 items ahead of her. Only way to kill Briar is in team fights. I may be wrong but i will only be focusing on Evelynn for now. Thank you for liking my guide! Hope it helped you win games!😁
