Can kite you out way too hard. Has self peel with her dashes and invisibility so she can easily dodge your Undertow (Q). Not to mention the disgusting damage she deals. If the enemy top lane locks this in then your best chance to win this lane is to look for a level 1 cheese to force out her flash or an early solo kill. Once she gets a point in W she shreds your half in just 3 autos so without an early lead you will literally just have to farm as much as you can. Donât die for CS, just take what you can get and accept the fact that you wonât be able to do shit for quite some time. Best ping your jungle for early help before she becomes absolutely impossible to kill solo. Build Ninja Tabi as your first item.
Trundle
One of the few champions that destroy you at level 1. Donât even try to fight him early, his Q is on a 4 second cool down, itâs an auto attack reset and it reduces your AD. Best time to try fight Trundle is when his W is on cool down. After level 6, you can bait out his ultimate by walking in to him and forcing him to all-in, but make sure his W is down. After he uses his ultimate you can just walk away and re-engage with an ult advantage provided you're healthy enough. Build an early Executionerâs Calling in this matchup, followed by Ninja Tabi.
Fiora
Never let her hit her vitals on you. If you get a bad positioned vital on you, you can walk back and the vital will reset in to a more favourable position. If she uses her W poorly, you can potentially use that cool down to force an all in. When she uses her ultimate on you, make sure to stand against a wall so that she canât hit all 4 vitals on you. Typically you want to kite back and use your Q to slow her when she ults you, whilst still positioning towards the wall on the side that the vital hasnât been hit on yet. After her ultimate runs out, you can look to re-engage with an ult advantage. If you are forced to fight whilst sheâs got her ultimate on you, I suggest not leaving the wall until itâs over as opposed to going all in with your Qs, since her ult heal is ridiculous and all 4 vital procs will do a lot of damage, so standing by the wall, using Q off of cool down as opposed to picking your axes up and just autoing her until it finishes is the best way to go about it, but always try to just run away when she ults, unless you know for sure you can win the 1v1 regardless of if she gets the heal off or not then go for it, but that will require an early lead. Build an early Executionerâs Calling in to this matchup, followed by Ninja Tabi, then build your Black Cleaver.
Mordekaiser
You beat him at every level. I love to let him get his passive off at level 1 so that he thinks he wins the all-in, so that I can then just kill him at level 1. Later on in the game itâll be harder to kill him once he gets tanky, but he shouldnât be able to do anything to you early. Also, your ultimate cancels his ultimate so use that to your advantage. If you ever do get ulted by Morde and you donât have yours, remember that if you throw out a Q just before he ults you, your Q will be on cool down and you wonât be able to pick it up, and the same thing happens when you throw a Q in his death realm just as itâs about to end - you wonât be able to pick it up since itâs in a different realm so youâll have to wait for it to come off of cool down. Where possible, try to save your Q if you think heâs gonna ult you, and also try to save your Q when you think his ult is gonna finish. For the most part, thatâll be the hardest part of this matchup. Exchanging flashes with Morde is always worth, rush Phage and run him down the lane over and over. If you do fall behind in this matchup, a Spectreâs Cowl or Hexdrinker will be good to pick up early.
Teemo
He is killable pre 6 if he wastes his blind. If the wave is in a good spot, you can throw a Q at him as he uses his blind and just run him down. Whilst blinded, you can still hit Teemo with Q and E and your ultimate will get rid of the blind effect and also his shrooms will not slow you, so once youâre level 6, you can look to all-in him whenever suits you by simply hitting a Q, chaining your Qs and using your ultimate as soon as he blinds you or you run in to a shroom. Also donât forget you can pick up an Oracle Lens to clear his shrooms off the ground or check for them whilst all-ining so that you can dodge the shrooms to take less damage. If you fall behind or are even in this lane you can get an early Spectreâs Cowl or Hexdrinker, but if all goes well, rush Phage and run that squishy little rat down the lane over and over again. Boots will also be good since he has a range advantage, but as long as you land Q, it shouldnât be a problem. The hardest part of this lane will be the harass he can get off on you when you canât all-in him when the wave isnât in a good spot for it.
