this build is gonna get u killed 9 out of 10 times in a ranked game... Tank Garen = big hunk of meat!! Why would u throw a piece of greasy fat on the battle field?

Garen is the best LOL in game in my opiion.

Anyway, nice build and heart of gold is always great item to equip for gold regen and extra health + armor. if i use this, i might change a quint or two to give gold a second. It helps because you can buy earlier, thus giving you an edge. Great build. One problem is you dont have courage earlier and its great for tanking.

I don't think I have ever seen a void staff on a garren. I usually go Merc Treads (Sometimes ninja tabai if they are ALL physical) then sunfire>FoN then it depends usually for me. I have the idea of tanks that they should still be threatening so people should still target you. So I usually get a ghost blade then mongers/impaler

Yeah, I think he needs to have three build for the guide. One for heavy magic casters, one for heavy physical, and one for a combination of the both.

I usually find myself going: Boots of Swiftness>Sunfire Cape>Force of Nature/Thornmail(Which ever one you need first)>Banshee's Veil>Void Staff. The void staff helps with your ult, a lot.

I like the build but i would recommend a better explanation for skills, items etc. Like why would you get thornmail if they have no aa carries... Just stuff like that. Going to +1 for now though just future explanation.

I have tried a tank garen since I saw one own in a ranked match. And I got to say, it was 80% similar to this build. I tried this build out, and by God it is awesome. Good job, and keep them coming. With this, and your Olaf build, we can definitely expect see just as awesome builds in the future. But... for a recommendation... could you try building a beast a** Udyr build? I use one already; however, I am fairly sure our take on it will be far different and probably better. +1.
