The most common form of code you will see used on MobaFire are links to the database. This sort of wiki is easy to implement. Add double square brackets to any item, champion, ability, summoner spell, rune or mastery to achieve this effect. Capitalisation isn't necessary.

BBCoding - Formatting Techniques



Line Dividers/Separators/Rules



Throughout this guide you will have noticed the white line underneath the titles for each section. I call these "line dividers", they can also be known as "rules" or "separators". Use these to separate paragraphs of text when necessary, as they can act as a chapter break. Feel free to use the ones I created for my own personal use; they're the coloured ones below.

Indentation




The ability to "indent" or in other words "tab" paragraphs. Indents "stack", so using multiple indents will push the text further and further to the right. If you do not close off an indent tag, it produces a cascading effect, as seen below.

Lists can be used to... list things. I personally don't use lists often, but they can have their uses. To make a numbered list, simply add "=1" to the end of the word "list" in the coding tag.

I have used multiple columns throughout this guide, and to be honest, it's the most fiddly formatting technique due to MobaFire's lack of space between columns. You need to manually create your own space between columns, either via invisible text (<highlight that blank space), indents, or using the width parameter.

Teleport: Great for getting around. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisicing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua.



Ability Explanation



  • Death Defied: This passive keeps Karthus alive after death, which allows him to contribute from the grave to a teamfight.
  • Lay Waste (Q): This spammy skill is your key to farming and harrasing as Karthus. It is automatically on Smart Cast, so the spell always lands where your cursor is. You may like to play around with it in a practise game before commiting yourself to a normal game.
  • Wall of Pain (W): Is an incredible slow that virtually cripples the movement speed of any enemy who walks through it.
  • Defile (E): This is your AoE skill that deals Damage over Time. It is imperative to turn this on in teamfights and leave it on if you die. Enemies often forget you are still "alive" and will stand in its effect, making their health bars drop rapidly.
  • Requiem (R): haha, the best ultimate in the game for Kill Stealing, Kill Securing and guarenteeing Pentakills. Use this whenever an ally says, "Low health enemy!", and you will get the kill :)

We want to max out Lay Waste because it is our main damage dealer. Then Defile as it allows you to lane forever. Teamfights


In teamfights Karthus should stay back and use Wall of Pain to slow the enemies. Then he should place Lay Waste in the direction an enemy is fleeing, or in the middle of the teamfight.

If you die as Karthus ensure that you turn on Defile to AoE burn the enemies fighting around your Death Defied reanimated corpse.



Warding The Map




This is where you and your team should Sight Ward.
  • Yellow: Vital to protect the jungler on your team
  • Blue: For protection depending on which lane you're on
  • Red: To guard Dragon and Baron
  • Orange: In order to Counter-Jungle

Tips and Tricks
  • Try and only use your Q when you are attacking enemy heroes, buffs, dragon.
  • Turn on Frost Shot when you are chasing or running away. Turning around and smacking them with 1 auto-attack will slow them right down.
  • Always have Frost Shot toggled on during team fights.

Skill Explanation by LameoGamer



Draw a Bead Increases your Attack Range as you level. Being able to comfortably sit behind your teammates and snipe is great. However, this passive also brings a negative consequence in that your early-game range is mediocre at best. The need for leveling for range is one of the many reasons why Mid-Lane is the best for Tristana.

Rapid Fire Increases your Attack Speed by a percentage. Attack speed on steroids. This ability is essential for mid-game and late-game fights, solo or team. This greatly increases your DPS and allows you to perhaps take down multiple turrets with only one or two waves of creep rapidly.

Rocket Jump Jumps to target location, dealing splash damage and slow at land spot. Your initiator, escape, and chase skill. Mastering this skill and its high utility is essential in being effective with Tristana. Key things about this skill are that you can jump over walls, enemies are slowed upon being hit, and its cooldown refreshes after a kill or assist.

My mastery set up is fairly abnormal especially since our objective is to have early game dominance as Kayle. But, a very common error you will see most people make is over compensating and actually placing too many mastery points and even runes, in CDR...

Tier 1 - 3 in Good Hands as you get more out of three points spent there over Perseverence . The 4th point goes into Perseverence as we need it to proceed down the tree.

Tier 2 - 4 in Awareness and as I had stated before, we don't want to indirectly cripple ourselves by getting that CDR later in the tree, so also grab 3 points in Expanded Mind which also helps you not only early on in the game, but does a subtle but noticeable snowball throughout the game.

Tier 3 - 1 in Greed will help you with all the expensive items that we need. 3 in Meditation . Now this mastery is quite amazing, it works well early on especially with our Doran's Ring. As we may or may not be getting buffs depending on our team comp just take the 1 in Utility Mastery .

Tier 4 - This tier is what makes Kayle. Max out Quickness and put the point into Blink of an Eye as well.

Tier 6 - lastly, for the 21st point, place it in Presence of the Master to further reduce that Flash CD.

Q: What Summoner Spells should I take? // Flash, Cleanse, Ignite, Exhaust and Heal are the best defensive/offensive Summoner Spells on Ashe, and it's up to personal preference on which you'd rather get. If you are not yet level 12, pick up Ghost and Heal.



Q: Why is Ashe a viable choice? // In ranked play, she is frequently chosen due to her powerful initiate, her utility in terms of Hawkshot, and the crippling slow she provides when chasing. She is good at low elo, but very difficult to play correctly at high elo. She needs a team that will work with her and carry her until she can carry the team.
