i like the build, except for the youmuus. Id say leave that for chars that DONT have highlander, and put starks back in your build in place of it so you have some lifesteal again and keep some armor reduction on the enemy.

I think it is better to start with Vampiric Sceptre and then get Zerkers into Madred's Razors into Wriggle's Lantern. Wriggle's is amazing for the free ward and the way it speeds up your jungling and lets you solo dragon easier. Also you don't need Frozen Mallet, just get red buff. Finally, Yi IS easy to play, he has no skill shots and has ridiculous damage output and chase/escape ability. The only hard thing is not getting bored while you are dominating the game and slaughtering their team.

I wish people would read my guide before voting, You completely trolled this, I can't believe how many people are like you stop voting down because you feel like trolling it's stupid. Wriggle's is pointless on Yi, And if you'd have read my guide you'd know Frozen Mallet is actually exceptionally good in certain situations not a core item a choice. Stop with the trolling it's ridiculous.

Also this is not, It's not the way I like it vote down. It's not about how you like it , it's about my ways of playing and how you should try and see if it works for you. You don't vote down and bash because its not made the way you like it, The wriggle's suggestion is fine, THat doesn't mean ope this sucks it's not how I play.. cmon!

Good build and good items this is a lot like how my friend builds YI.. Maybe consider maxing Wuju first as said above.. It makes it easier to last hit and decimate other champions when Highlander is active.. Cheers

Just some tips to your reccomended skill rotation. I think you should max Wuju style first, as it's damage increase is insane. You take one point in Alpha Leap, just so you can close distances and decrease damage taken(as enemies can't attack you during the leap). Meditate is a good spell for decresing incoming burst damage. Using it while enemies are tower diving you will in many chases turn the tides for you. If you even upgrade it to rank to at about lvl 8, you also got a desent heal, and wont need to waste money on pots.
I'm not too sure about the items, as i don't bother checking them mathematically. But Movement speed and damage is very important. But as long as you are improving your Wuju style, AD won't be a problem.
Of course, people play Yi differently, but this is how i play him, and it's very succesfull.

Cheers

To be honest - Starks Fevor isn't that great on Yi.
You'd do better rushing PD. The point of lifesteal is to heal back from damage, right?
So wouldn't it be better to not take that damage in the first place.
This blog post by Jebus goes into it in more detail.
