"Natsu's Power Rankings - Week 2"

I'll go with this title and I'll change the number of the week as I go along. Seems alright. So let's get to the power rankings. If you don't know how I rate the teams, go back to my previous blog post and read it. Let's go!

EU LCS, Week 4:
1. Fnatic (-)
2. H2K (+1)
3. Origen (-1)
4. Unicorns of Love (-)
5. Gambit (+3)
6. Giants (-2)
7. SK Gaming (+3)
8. Elements (+1)
9. Copenhagen Wolves (-3)
10. Roccat (-3)

Fnatic vs Origen was a very solid match and Fnatic ended up victorious in the end. This was definitely Origen's weakest week in comparison to their first 3 weeks. With H2K on the rise, they move up to 3rd while Origen slides into 3rd. Now all eyes are on the Fnatic vs H2K match-up. Gambit have moved up a lot this week. While they still have a lot to work on, they are starting to look like a team now and that's great to see. The more competition the better! But don't be fooled, the other reason why Gambit move up so much is because the teams below them had a rough week (with the exception of SK Gaming).

Unicorns of Love seem to be the new gatekeepers of the EU LCS. They continue to remain in 4th place, unable to defeat the Top 3 (and SK) but beating everyone else. SK Gaming had a good week in terms of their record. While their gameplay remains somewhat of a mess, they are starting to get back on track.

NA LCS, Week 4:
1. CLG (+1)
2. Dignitas (+4)
3. TSM (-)
4. Gravity (-)
5. Liquid (-4)
6. TiP (-1)
7. Enemy E-Sports (-)
8. Cloud 9 (-)
9. Team 8 (-)
10. TDK (-)

Now you might be thinking "Dignitas 2nd place?!" but do hear me out! Liquid went 0-2, Dig went 2-0, TSM went 2-0 but they could have easily lost both of their games, Gravity lost to TSM and TiP lost to Dignitas. What does that mean? Well it means Dignitas might not be as amazing as Dig fans would like them to be, but it means they are along with CLG the teams that make less mistakes. Every other team seems to be stumbling in one way or another. Dig still has to prove they can stay at the top but for now they get 2nd place.

The bottom 4 remain the same. Enemy is a team that just needs more refining and more experience. They have the raw talent, they just need to develop that talent. The skies are still grim for Cloud 9 as they continue their struggles after going 0-2 this week. Team 8 went 1-1 after barely beating TDK but that just goes to show you that Team 8 is struggling just as much if not more. And they lost to C9 anyways, so C9 edges them out for 8th place. TDK is still playing with subs and is still winless so they are 10th again.

LPL, Week 5:
1. EDG (-)
2. Qiao Gu (-)
3. Invictus Gaming (+1)
4. OMG (-1)
5. Team Snake (-)
6. Master3 (+1)
7. Royal Never Give Up (-1)
8. Vici Gaming (+1)
9. LGD Gaming (+1)
10. Team WE (+1)
12. Team King (+1)
12. Unlimited Potential (-4)

Things are still confusing in the mythical land known as China. EDG is actually starting to struggle a little bit. This was by far their worst week in the LPL this year in terms of record (and possible play too). They split 2 series 1-1 and they lost their second Bo2 to none other than Team WE, another bottom LPL team. Luckily for EDG, the other challengers for the #1 spot didn't perform well enough to remove them from the #1 spot so EDG remains at the top. OMG lost their first Bo2 after going down 0-2 to a better looking LGD Gaming. IG managed to get a 2-0 this week so they edged out OMG but they couldn't move higher due to losing 0-2 to M3.

The Top 5 is fairly straightforward but below that things get complicated. Team WE did get a 2-0 victory but so did a lot of other teams above them. It was tough for me to decide which team gets 12th place but Team King managed to get a draw vs OMG and a win vs Unlimited Potential. Despite losing to IG, considering how poorly King was playing prior to this week, they can be very happy with their results from Week 5 and they earned the #11 spot.

To sum up China (since it's too hard to explain), the region is stacked and teams are losing left and right. Even EDG the MSI champions are struggling in this region. Imagine how stacked it is especially with 12 teams.
