Hi TempusDominus,

sorry for the delayed update of the guide.

I completely agree that Titanic Hydra in better than Ravenous Hydra. I gave more details on this in the Items section.

About Dead Man's Plate: This one time bonus to movement speed and empowering one auto attack is, in my opinion, not better than the constant damage provided by Sunfire Aegis, simply because your job (and the only way of playing) is to get into people's face and stay there for a while, not to make one time impact Hecarim style. I put my view of this also in Items chapter.

Best of luck with playing Renekton,
KillCrashDestroy

Hi, I love your guide but I have some questions about the build, I may be wrong but wouldn't the new titanic hydra be better than the ravenous hydra because how it's bonus damage scales with hp, and also dead mans plate be better than sunfire? Thanks in advance.

Hi Varegue,

I have included Fizz and Rek'Sai match ups.

Thank you for the suggestion.

Best,

About item paths: this has been noted to me before and I have thinked about it a lot but did not come up with the idea on how to make it simpler since Renekton builds can be very situational and depend on lane opponent, situation in the game and team compositions. So, for now, I keep it this way and give detailed explanations in Lane Match ups section, plus I have added detailed section on Items which provides more clarity. If you have any suggestions, I am looking forward to hear them...

About The Brutalizer: it is listed in optional items for mid-game, not the obligatory one. It is nice to give you some noticeable mid-game power but it is quite rarely practical to upgrade it into Youmuu's Ghostblade. Anyway, if you really want it, it s still a legitimate purchase and it is not very high expense to sell it once you need an item slot.

I second the suggestion on the build path of items need better explanation. To note: you have the brutalizer as an item picked in 99% of your games, yet none of the items in the final build use's the brutalizer in its recipe.... The only item beyond jungle items that use it is youmuuse

I hope you will keep this guide updated, it's very great !
The Lane match-up part saved me a lot, but there are some champions I faced who were not there, without any tips, do you actually have tips against Rek'Sai (faced him a lot at toplane), Fizz, and another renekton ?

Thank you for the positive feedback Varegue! It really feels good to hear it :)

Anyhow, Renekton is a very viable champion for solo queue since he fits into so many METAs. If you enjoy playing him, I suggest to stick to him as your main and grab him whenever you can. I got from Bronze to Platinum with more-or-less only Renekton, so I claim it is very much doable.

Best of luck...

Thanks for this guide and for the update, this is complete and excellent. I really like it and it's fun to play Renekton with this guide. Also, I know what to do against every match-up and it helped me to stand against champions like Trundle, Shyvana, Gnar and Pantheon without feeding or losing my lane ! (Perhaps the fact that I'm in a low elo is doing something, but I still think that this guide helped me a lot.)

You put *against AP* twice, one with cloth start and the other with sword start, even though armor is meant for AD teams, which is probably what you meant instead of AP.
