thanks, I have decided to change his starting item from a dorans shield to a dorans ring, this allows him to have nearly the same amout of life from the shield + mana regen. I changed my seals and quints to mana/5 instead of the armour and CDR ones I chose. Since Granite Shield means I shouldn't lost to much life it should be fine. I have also added Clarity as a viable choice for a summoner spell.

Playing Malphite with no mana regen and all thouse expensive items, just not gonna happend.

With no Clarity or no mana regen, ur not gonna be able to get thouse items.

For this to work you would need to consider:

A: either a cheaper build
B: mana regen item
C: Clarity

So if ur looking for imporvments to the build this is where i would start looking :)

I like the idea of getting CD reduction on Malphite. I run the CD reduction on my blues, and the flat heath Quints instead. And I love getting the tanky CD reduction items - Randuin's (even though they continue to lower it's CD reduction, grr!) and Frozen Heart - on Malph, too. When you get him right around the 40% cap, you get to churn out that ult so fast...that's a game changing ult for sure. Haven't used this guide in-game, but the idea behind it is a +1 for sure.
