Maybe you could edit it to have Guinsoos as an early game item, then resell it when you reach xx gold for a situational item?

Because Akali is somewhat a hybird AD/AP hero [Due to Her passive]. Guinsoo gives that cheap boost in both stats and Akali can easily achieve 8 stacks in any fight. A cheap 2235 Gold for 35 Atk + 93 AP (45+48) with increased atk speed should help in Q ---> Slash animation. With that being said, I too have started doubting its effectiveness and have been switching it up with Mejai's Soul Stealer/Void Staff for a change. In my experience, Mejai doesn't work that well in the end game phase but it's good to have in the early mid to late mid phase (level 6 - 16)

Hey Kira, just looked and we literally have quite similar builds. Only thing I wanted to ask about is Guinsoos, never enjoyed it too much. I used to use it, but kinda questionable to me though. Overall, it was fun messing with this a little bit. Good stuff.

That is a good alternative but she's too slow moving for an assassin IMO. She needs a boots that can help her escape. Also moving fast = getting lanes to lanes faster = more money = better items. Moving faster also helps chase down heroes that are running and Akali is good at picking off suishy heroes and running heroes. If you want magic penetration, you can go for Void Staff. But you can always try going for that boots and see what works for you. I personally dislike moving slow. =x

also i just wanted to ask about your boots i think you should have the magic pentration one and also stack on the ap item ... could you explain y not?
